Completely agree. I'd have Polholke in ahead of Knight, and Davis in ahead of MacKay everyday of the week...and I"m not a huge Davis fan.

Davis has some real x-factor and ability. Whether he can harness that often enough is his big issue. It looks unlikely at this stage, but he has had two opportunities only to see if his game translates to the AFL arena - and one of them was a thrashing against Geelong at Geelong. He needs to be given a chance.

That Murphy... he's a hard nut. Seriously could barely walk when he came off after the corky. But he worked through it and went back out there. He may not be the best footballer, but be damned he gives it 110% every minute of every game.

I don't get this "He needs to be given a chance" thing. If a player isn't good enough, then they're not good enough. The coaches don't need to see them fail at AFL level to know that they're not going to make the grade.

Whether we're keeping them or not doesn't get factored into our selections. List management and selection committees are two completely different entities at the AFC. Continuing to select the players we planned to trade/delist at the end of 2019 proves this.

It would be crazy if they kept him in afrer that performance, even the first gamers provide more than Knight did. Yes agree I think Davis and Poholke need to be given a block of 3-4 games to see if they are worth keeping on the list.

Not just a block of games. But a block of games in the position they are best at. Poholke should come in and take Jones's spot in the centre and push Jones out to a wing.

I don't rate Poholke either but our coaching group hasn't earned the kind of trust/faith Vader seems to put in them.

he’s a huge body.. has a booming kick.. and seems to get plenty of it.. but hasnt been given any opportunities..

give him a block of 3-4 games andsee if he brings anything.. if he doesnt, happy to say “see ya ****n later”..

so many of our blokes dont get given any chances whilst a select few blokes that provide the same rubbish week after week continue to get picked..

you watch..come the end of year.. Davis, poke and wilson and one or two others will get delisted without being given a decent go and played in their strongest positions.. and we’ll all be none the wiser as to whether they couldve provided something. whilst Mookay will get one more season and it will be “carry on” for Knight, harto, Murphy, Kelly, Atkins, gibbs as if they are essential to the list and future direction of the team..

And yet he was given a 3 year extension only last year. Played 2 games since.

I'd suggest Saunders is talking about his shoulder injury, whereas Nicks is talking if he is ready to play in terms of fitness, touch, etc.

Davis is under contract...won't be delisted.

Wilson - should be delisted, he's 25 already. Though some here would have him signed up to to a 4 year deal if he got an offer elsewhere

Knight - I think he will be gone, only got a 1 year deal and did nothing on the weekend to show he can make it. Also 25, not going to make it.

Mackay - last year, I think we can finally say that...famous last words.

Atkins - will be interesting, but appears to be first choice.

Murphy - doesn't do a lot, but has time to improve at 21
