Changes v Freo

From reading that report it would seem Gysberts is likely.

Currie an outside chance, but would be a surprise knowing Scott's change as little as possible approach to selection.

We need to make at least 2 changes this week to freshen up the team and send a message that weak efforts won't be tolerated.
Potential outs: Siera, Macmillan, Firritto, McMahon
Potential ins: Greenwood, Gysberts, McKenzie, Kennedy
Wright & Adams spared but they'd want to pull the finger out soon.

I am hoping for 3 changes. Those guys^ have been spared enough IMO!!! Greenwood(definite),?,?

would love to see currie get a crack and help goldy dominate freo's rucks, dont reckon sandilands is ready just yet, so it is an area we could and should exploit, if we can get quick clearances and inside 50's we can score quickly and put a spanner in ross lyins floodfest tactics

Noooooaaaarrghhhhh!

Video also features media work experience student Bridie Cunxin, who is Li Cunxin's (Mao's Last Dancer) daughter. Whole family are very large North Melbourne supporters.

Should help for expansion to China.

Regarding Kennedy being ignored, isn't it that the club feels he lacks the "intensity" to play at AFL level and needs to improve on it?

Wasn't that mentioned somewhere by the club earlier this year?

Yes Scott is waiting for Kennedy to show the same level of intensity as MacMahon, Atley, Basti, Wright and MacMillan. So once Kennedy drops his intensity down a few notches he will be considered.

Was he just being modest with the "if i play" talk. Or have the coaches told the defenders they will go small this week?

That sounds about right believe it or not, about the only explanation why we keep picking underperformers.

Currie should certainly play this week to change things up, and add some uncertainty to our line up - which guarantees he wont be picked :thumbsu:

Might as well get him in now while he's in a bit of form. Should be blooded anyway given where the season's at.
that may be why he will not get a game. If we lose this one the season is over. I cant see the current SC debuting a player, when our season hangs on it.

Maybe next week.

I'm expecting minimal changes

Why would we make changes? We got within 2 kicks of a future powerhouse, in a foreign land and in conditions never seen at Etihad.

These words might be more prophetic than you realise.

I remember one of those footy comedy radio shows (probably Coodabeens) in the late 90's running a segment called "Things you don't hear called out at the footy". I think it was the original source of "Gee, these pies are good value".

Anyway, one of those never-heard calls was "Come on Brisbane, it's only Hawthorn" ...

Welp:

NORTH Melbourne will resist the temptation to blood youngsters in the second half of the season, even if it falls out of finals contention, coach Brad Scott says.

North has endured a difficult first half of 2013, having won just four games and lost the same number by four points or less.

The Roos sit 13th on the ladder and face an uphill battle to make the finals with games against Fremantle and Essendon, and return clashes against Hawthorn, Geelong, Collingwood and the Sydney Swans.

Scott told reporters at Aegis Park on Thursday he had attended the games of North's VFL affiliates, North Ballarat and Werribee, during the Roos' bye last weekend and been impressed by youngsters such as Cameron Delaney, Brad McKenzie, Taylor Garner and former Melbourne midfielder Jordan Gysberts.

STILL no AK.

What the **** has Cam Delaney done this year?

Nothing compared to Kennedy. What a crock.

Greenwood/Anthony/Gysberts better play this week or this club is going backwards. If he doesn't make a statement after losing to the Gold Coast and after having So many passengers over the last 6 weeks we will go backwards at a rate of knots.
