A long flight!?!?!! From Adelaide to Darwin?!?!!With a long flight?
Best to give him 2 weeks off with the bye at home imo.
West coast and Fremantle do longer flights every two weeks.

Sorry forgot McAdamMcAdam the only one missing that is likely best 22.
It's a 4 hour flight which isn't exactly short.A long flight!?!?!! From Adelaide to Darwin?!?!!

He's available.McAdam the only one missing that is likely best 22.
Going to be interesting who he replaces assuming he gets his form and fitness up to the level. Maybe Murphy, although he's playing an important role in F50 stoppages.McAdam the only one missing that is likely best 22.
I don’t think he’ll get back in this year.Going to be interesting who he replaces assuming he gets his form and fitness up to the level. Maybe Murphy, although he's playing an important role in F50 stoppages.
He'll add yet another point of difference up forward and make us even more potent.
I don’t think he’ll get back in this year.
Just a gut feel that he’ll get injured or not comeback well in the sanfl. Why not?
Was obviously preferred as he was selected rd 1. Last played April 21st and should be back in the SANFL this week.
We still have 11 games + a bye after this week which should give him plenty of time.
Note - If you are suggesting he is perennially injured and you think he lacks the application to get his body right for consistent AFL footy -then I might agree.
The more I re-watched it the more I thought "nah, he's gone"Given all the other suspensions .....I'm not sure how you rationalise Laird being freed
But as an owner .....I'm overjoyed
4 hours? Normally less than 3.5 hours and I do this trip once or twice a monthIt's a 4 hour flight which isn't exactly short.
He is due for rest & makes sense to do it for one of our longer trips... don't you think... or don't you think.
I'd rest Sloane next week, give him 2 weeks off then.TBH I wouldn't be surprised to see a post training report of some sore players today.
Feels like the team is cycling through some strategic rests.
Now with Laird playing Sloane seems to obvious candidate. But wouldn't be at all surprised if a younger players name pops up as well.
I'm more concerned about the humidity then travel. But given its a double whammy in Darwin on a short week, I'd be more inclined to rest Sloanie now.I'd rest Sloane next week, give him 2 weeks off then.
It's a must win match. Rest him next week.I'm more concerned about the humidity then travel. But given its a double whammy in Darwin on a short week, I'd be more inclined to rest Sloanie now.
TBH giving Sloane a 3 week rest (including the bye) probably wouldn't be the worst management of a 33 year old player coming off a ACL. Let him slog out the remainder of winter on super fresh legs.
have to put our best side on the park this weekIt's a must win match. Rest him next week.
I fly there every 6 weeks for work.4 hours? Normally less than 3.5 hours and I do this trip once or twice a month
Tough selection this week. Smith and Hinge should come in, but Ned looks the only likely player to go out (wasn’t bad either, just last man in so first out). Who else misses?
Well the club has been fairly transparent with sore/underdone players this season (which has been refreshing for the AFC). So if he is laboring i'm sure we'll know about it by this afternoon or tomorrowIt's a must win match. Rest him next week.
