How dare we have someone who hasn't worked hard enough or got the match fitness in.
He was so good in JLT wasn't he!!... Oh wait, he didn't play... So maybe thats why he's not in?
If we through him in and he got injured straight away, you'd be doing the same bitching and moaning you are now.
Throw in Blair and Aish it’ll send shivers down the spine. What the hell is our forward line going to look like:
Crocker Reid ?
Mayne ? Stephenson
The trouble with the 35 touches is, he wouldn't have got them as a defensive forward.Mayne is a certainty going by that article.
Oh well, if he got 35 touches maybe he deserves a go?
Theres AFL then daylight then VFL. No where near as physical.
This one gets me. Carlton are ordinary but you can see their progress. Same with Brisbane. Collingwood feels like we are in no mans landI can't remain level headed anymore. I've supported Bucks through thick and thin, but I'm done.
We have no clear game plan or structure
I can't remember the last time I saw us kick to a lead in F50
Our forward line run into each others space and clog up our F50
Our skills are simply deplorable
We already look like a team scared of losing - not a team free of the shackles
Team selection staggers me - how Shaz wasn't picked is beyond me
For the first time in my 32 years of life, I hate watching us play. There's no progress, no clear trajectory or game plan.
We play like a bunch of U12's who have never been coached about the nuances of playing footy.
Rant over.

If we get the spoon Dave you will be very happy as no Bucks and number 1 pick.

lol watch Cox on the weekend?
You wouldn't know the difference.
Was interesting listening to SEN (Luff and King) discuss our major flaw today.
Personally they hit the nail on the head.
“Last year in the forward 50, they were ranked 18th at ground level. We talk about the talls, but the smalls are as big as a problem.”
https://www.sen.com.au/news/2018/03/27/the-real-issue-with-collingwoods-forward-line/
Whilst it’s clear our delivery would lead to a better functioning forward line, I really do believe it is our lack of crumbing ability that leads to our horrendous inside forward 50 conversion rate.
We should be going small, not tall.
And when I say small I would love for us to work towards some xfactor in the front half. Players who can actually be creative rather than robotic paint by number type players i.e Smith.
Not sure who is ready to go fitness wise this weekend (obviously Elliott still isn’t), but I reckon if we could actually get a forward line during the season of:
Kirby - Moore - Elliott;
Daicos - Fasolo - WHE; and
Sidey, Stephenson etc rotating through - we would be much better performing.
Bucks needs to put some faith in the young exciting types rather than keep going back to the well on proven spuds.

We would be far better served by having Darcy as a lone tall forward, with Elliott and Fas as medium marking options, and Kirby, Brown (who looked great in JLT vs Bulldogs) or even WHE roving the forward line.
The damning thing is that even with Cox and Reid up forward and our forward pressure being non-existent, we still couldn’t get someone to crumb to Cox’s marking attempts. We got killed in the air and on the ground.
