Rozee Williams
Burton Lienert/Bonner/Garner/Watts
Motlop Ebert
Westhoff Lycett

Overall based on form of players, Burton the biggest loss. Repeat soft tissue injuries, is he made of glass?

I think our forward 50 structure is more important then our second ruck.

So Georgi in Westhoff out.
Ebert in Motlop out.

Dixon rucks the forward 50 anyway, so Lycett or Ladhams could ruck 90% of the game.

Marshall or even Ebert could Be the second ruck for 5 minutes a quarter. Just bring the first ruck in whenever a goal is scored, so we go well in the centre clearances.

Burton out - Lienert in (he likes to run)

If Rozee is sore, give Bergman a crack.

Ladhams in the best coaches votes - will stay in the team.

Saints players to watch:
10 Jack Steele (STK)
6 Jade Gresham (STK)
4 Dougal Howard (STK)
4 Paddy Ryder (STK)
1 Daniel Butler (STK)

Based on the distribution of coaches votes we can tell only one coach gave Ladhams votes - and 4 votes at that. It's feasible that was the Carlton votes and that our coaching staff didn't get what they wanted from Pete.

Due to the horrifically bad broken leg he suffered pre-draft he has to manage his running load pretty closely. I imagine it means he cant get the conditioning into his legs to prevent these sorts of injuries. Sadly it means it's not likely to go away any time soon.

Another week, another minnow supporter base underrating our team. View attachment 916491
He's right. I'd have all those sides above us too. Maybe not West Coast, but we're definitely a level below Brisbane, Collingwood and Richmond at the moment. Our last 3 weeks have been very unconvincing.

He's actually about half right there. Teams with pace that move the ball quickly do trouble us. What he forgot to add is that teams who have that in addition to significant height advantage up forward are the ones who trouble us. We absolutely do not want the ball flying in quickly when our defenders are at a significant height disadvantage.

Geez you have been on a downer of late.
How the hell do you really know if Richmond or Collingwood are better than us this year. Let’s wait and see.

Richmond have only beaten Melbourne, Sydney, North and Carlton back in round 1. They're not exactly flying at the moment and I'd have them well down the list of premiership favourites. Geelong certainly deserve to be above them.

At what point do we become rightly spoken about as a top 4 team then, genuine question.

Once we actually make it there at the end of round 17. I ain’t counting my chickens before they hatch when it comes to Port, as I have been burnt too many times in the past. Stop worrying about opposition supporters opinions and enjoy the ride that season 2020 is!

Only a few years ago we would all be up and about thinking a flag is ours for the taking here. We can beat any other team.
But we are all scarred and cynical from really really poor ends to recent seasons.
Each week a few more start to believe. I'm a complete misery guts so will be one of the last. Just can't get my hopes up with Ken anymore.
