I want to see Toovey replaced for the long-term ASAP, but I thought he was okay last week. He matches up fairly well on Goodes for size and pace too. I think it will be Scharenberg out instead of Tooves, which will be a shame given how well he looked after coming on last week.

Toovey must be dropped this week especially if he plays on Goodes.

Can you imagine the outcry every time Toovey wins the ball and runs away from Goodes and the Collingwood crowd screams Tooooooooooooooooves!!

Might be construed as booing so he MUST be dropped this week

Patty K deserves to come in, cops a hell of a raw deal on here i reckon, can't do much more at VFL level really.
White, purely as it's against Sydney, if that's not enough to motivate him to a great game then nothing is.

Moore could stay in, not fussed either way but Frost has been going backwards and quickly as the year has worn on, confidence looks shagged and seems to be in two minds about positioning far too often, defensively he has cost us massively lately.
I like the kid but he needs a spell.

Some short memories here. White was dropped for putting in mediocre performances week in, week out.

Yes his goals per game average looks ok, but his performances overall were very ordinary. I'm not against giving him the opportunity as the 3rd forward/support ruckman, which is likely to happen. This is the role he's most suited to and may flourish. I'd still be happy to see Moore play in front of him. Sydneys tall defenders aren't that great.

You'd think JDG was rested with this game in mind so I'd see him coming in.

Hoping we stick with Marsh, Shazza and Maynard over Goldy. Whether it goes that way remains to be seen. I'd rather see Toovey make way if they're desperate to bring Goldy in.

PK deserves a run but Fas and Elliott are in front of him and Varcoe more versatile.

Buddy out gives us a huge chance but we must start well. The smaller ground could play into our hands as long as we bring our tackling game and apply plenty of pressure through the midfield.

For me, I'd like to see the below:
JDG, Cloke in.
Not sure who goes out. Darcy would be a chance, possibly Maynard too.

However, pretty sure Bucks will bring the Sack back, possibly the Seed too.
Kennedy, PK, Goldsack, White unlucky.

Can't see the point of bringing back the Sack or the Seed. Both now have finite ceilings on their ability to contribute to the team's fortunes. I would rather leave players like Marsh, Scharenburg, Maynard and even (gulp) Sinclair in the team than play either of these guys.

With Cloke Not Coming Back in I think we be short 1 KPD and Reid be our lone KPF?

He got a big wrap from Rocca for his performance last week, but I don't think you can bring in Karnezis for Frost. That would put Reid down back and leave Cloke and Moore/White up forward with one of the latter giving a chop out to Grundy.

Karnezis needs to put in another solid effort I would think and someone else like Crisp would need to put in a poor one.
