I think if we want out best chance of winning, the changes should probably be:

In:White, Cloke

Out: Moore, Maynard

De Goey comes in if Adams doesn't pull up. Adams is a much needed player against Sydney though, but the 6 day break may go against him

Well we are about 1% chance of Making Finals so IF we want the best Chance to win is not a Certainty

Maynard? The kid should get the bloody rising star nomination this week. Won't be dropped, unless they rest him a la De Goey.

We need to drop a defender for a forward. It's either scahrenberg, marsh or Maynard. Otherwise if Buddy is out then we should consider Frost, although the swans still line up with Reid, Tippett and Goodes

In: Cloke, White, de Goey
Out: Frost, Maynard (rest), Adams (if injured)
Reid goes back and Cloke, Moore and White are the three talls up forward.

The issue for me isn't Moore v White as to who is the better forward.

The issue for me is Moore v white as to who is the better forward/ruckman.

Cloke and Reid are our 2 best forwards. If we are comfortable using Moore as our backup ruck then so be it. But I don't think any of us really want to expose Moore to this long term.

So that leaves white ahead for me

Do have a Point with White being the Better Ruck/Forward. That is only really that White has the Bigger/Mature body to go in the Ruck.

I still would not Rule out Reid going down back IF we wanted to. Could take Maynard Spot

Well I doubt White get’s to as many Contests Moore does and puts in Repeat Efforts as you see in these 2 Video’s:

Dave we all know you have a massive man crush on Moore (and Grundy), but you don't need to defend then against every negative comment.

Claiming Moore's fumbling effort makes him immune from demotion is laughable.

Well I seen White Fumble a hell of a Lot more then Moore. White even in the VFL took marks on the 2nd or 3rd Efforts. Not very Clean I would say

Yo Brodie Grundy, i'm really happy for your 37 hitouts against Kreuzer and imma let you finish, but Jarrod Witts' 37 hitouts against American Alex Aurrichio in the VFL was the best ruck performance of all time. Of all time!

Don’t Get her Started Mate;)

I am angry with your logic but it makes perfect sense and I guess yer right mumble grumble could have 6 goals this week grumble...

Exactly!

Career high hitouts and equal career high tackles for Brodie. Why on earth would you drop him?

Is that why we were beaten at the clearances? Is that all a ruck has to do, tap it anywhere? Then agree, Grundy is a star.

Alex Aurrichio has never ever in his life had an effective kick. He has NEVER had an effective kick, ever, in AFL. :drunk:

Is there a hit outs to own feet stat? Because if there is, Witts is all over it.

Watched the VFL replay last night. Time after time after time again, Witts' hitouts went straight to the Blues' mids. He was good around the ground, (acting as linkman, marking in defence, sneaking forward to provide a target, etc.), but didn't have the best performance in his primary role. I'd love to see the hitouts to advantage stat, because I'd be willing to bet that Cox clearly outperformed Witts on that score.

I'd still pick Witts before White for 2nd ruck, though...

Little harsh Maggie5 .. clearances are more a product of midfield effort as it is a ruckmans hitouts. Also had a game high 9 tackles which is incredibly rare for a big guy

I would not Call Witts a lot better the Grundy as a Tap Ruckman.

I see nearly every single ruckman do that

Maggie5 we know you think Witts will be the best Ruckman in the League

And Grundy is Average at best

I'll wait for the injury report and some training reports prior to my proposed changes but how can people not have PK in after his display on the weekend is beyond me.

Because PK has told the Club to let him go as he does not want to be at Collingwood

I'd pick Witts head of White too, but it's got nothing to do with stats or recent performances at any level.

It's about the future.

Jesse White will walk out as a 28 year old next year, while Witts is still a huge part of our future, if we don't trade him of course.

We aren't playing finals this year, give up the pipe dream, so let's get games into the players who may well be part of our next premiership push, and White will not be part of that push.

I suspect though based on Bucks recent comments that Witts and Grundy won't play together again this season, so White will probably come in.

Don't believe everything you hear from the so called cousins/friends especially when they tell you he's been promised a best 22 spot at Hawthorn ;)
