Prediction Changes vs Dees round 19

Hahahahaha!!!!

Dees are slow in defence and only Salem has decent speed. IF we were ever to try 5 tallish forwards, it would be against the Dees slower back line.

Expect us to try and kick to forward via marking through the midfield. Very left field instead of copying Hawks crappy deliberately horrible long kicks into the forward half.

Perhaps we will make lots of late changes…. OR at least get the Dees to worry about our serious marking power forward.

No idea what the plan is

A defender, inside mid and wing/forward out for an inside mid, wing/forward and key forward. So we're a defender down. JJ moving back is the easiest change but he was shocking there a few weeks ago when we tried. If Daniel moves back we're down an mid which would mean Garcia could have to take minutes. Or it could be Naughton or Schache or even Bruce. Whatever we do it's not just bad ins it's messing with our structure significantly.

No clue what we're playing at bringing in Hannan and Schache. Croz has had a really bad season and deserved to be dropped but bringing in a player that hasn't been above average at all this season and a fourth tall forward is just ridiculous. I can only hope that Schache is being bought in to play behind the ball.

I wonder if Hannan or Schache has been told to just stick with Lever all night? And try nullify his marking?
He tried that against Tom Stewart who went on to have the best game of his career.

Hannan’s selection just baffles me. I just cannot even see anything that he brings.

Hawks are awful and went extra tall against Melbourne and pulled off a draw, even with Frost hitting up more Melbourne players than he ever did when he played for them.
We stop Brayshaw or make him actually play on an opponent rather than sit off all game and kill our switches, we probably win last time.

I'm actually more confident now than I was 24 hours ago.

Luke Beveridge is desperate to get his good mate Hannan in the team. It doesn't matter that he's been poor at AFL level all year, Beveridge plays favourites, and Mitch is definitely one of his personal favourites.

Five tall forwards named in a wet weather game. Beveridge probably thinks Hannan will look better while Bruce, Schache, Naughton and Ugle-Hagan are struggling.

the team looks great until you see the interchange is four of the biggest whipping boys at the club
Schache: "You wanted to see me, Mr Beveridge? ... Sir."
Bevo: "Yeah, Josh. Take a seat. I've got some good news and some bad news."
Schache (uncertainly): "You have?"
Bevo: "Yep. The good news is you're in the side this week."
Schache: "Wow that's great! That's fantastic news! "
(uncertain again) "And the err ... bad news?"
Bevo: "Big Footy is going to hear about this. You need to brace yourself for it. You'll need to be resolute."
Schache: "OK, OK I will. Thank you Mr Beveridge. Thank you... Sir."

(Schache leaves the office but bumps into Lin Jong in the corridor)

Jong: "What was all that about, Shaq? You look pretty happy."
Schache: "Hey Jongy! I'm in the side this week. Oh and Bevo said something about the footy will be really big this week. Or something like that. I was so excited I didn't quite take it all in."
Jong: "Good on you mate. Oh ...and ummm ... good luck. You might need it."

This the weather forecast for Saturday: Melbourne area:
High (70%) chance of showers, most from the late morning. The chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. winds and possible small hail in the afternoon and evening. Winds northerly 15 to /h increasing to 25 to 40 km/h in the morning then tending northwesterly 30 to 45 In the middle of the day.
If accurate, there is no way this suits our team selection.🙄

Hannan to run with Salem, possibly Josh Bruce to the back line and to spell Timmy in the ruck.

Max Gawn will be the difference between the 2 sides again.
