Long story short, we need to drop Corr for one of Hall/Bergman/Goater.

One of Corr and ziebs needs to be moved out of the backline
Agree that Corr should be left out for this game, and structurally, most weeks, depending on form, there should only be one place for Ziebell or Corr.

OUT: Corr, Turner, Cunnington, Taylor
IN: Goater, Greenwood, Curtis, Bergman

Tucker moves upfield.

I’ve just watched parts of the game angain and the biggest change has to be from Clarko.

That defensive structure and the way we set up everywhere was absolutely horrible.

No personal changes will make a difference if we continue to set up like we are.

Hopefully, we’ll see the value of having Clarko now. Make no mistake, performances like yesterday were not supposed to happen this year. Big beatings are acceptable when we get overwhelmed and beaten by 50 or so and that equates to our performance. However, when you are extremely lucky to lose by 75 points, that’s another thing altogether. Brisbane were 150 points better than us yesterday. When you consider they gave us a three goal head start, that’s beyond mind-boggling. In the worst days of Noble, we always could bemoan our 12+ injured players. Not yesterday. Thinking back to what GC did to us last year up there, I’ll avoid this game like the plague and only check the score after it’s finished 🤣. Over to Clarko…

If Jy doesn’t get up we don’t have many other options.
I wouldn’t be against Lazzaro coming in for Jy, has been good in the VFL the last few matches let’s see how he goes at AFL level. If Jy is out for an extended period then give Charlie a run at least by the end of it we‘ll know if he’s up to it or not.

While we are likely to persist with Corr, Logue and McKay for a few weeks, I hope Clarko starts thinking about alternatives for the third KPD. Whether that be Bons or Dawson (as a leaner faster rebounding interceptor KPD). In addition to Ziebell, we are effectively playing 4 KPDs atm.

Long story short, we need to drop Corr for one of Hall/Bergman/Goater.

It's an unpopular opinion, but bon building. Definitely getting better YoY, still 24 sand has athletic traits.

I think he could go okay in ziebells role long-term after he retires...

It’s going to take more than 5 games for Clarko to get a real gauge on we’re this list is at last nights game just sped up that process.I believe and trust what decisions the coach makes he has been there and done that. There are going to be a lot more games like last night ahead of us a few more trips to the draft,a few more preseasons to come.
Patience is what is required and trust.

Out - Turner, Taylor, Shiels, Simpkin
In - Curtis, Bergman, Hall, Greenwood
Sub - Lazz

Curtis straight swap for Turner
Greenwood straight swap for Simpkin
Bergman and Hall to half back
Tucker to take Shiels wing
Sheezel to take Taylors high HF role

I

reckon he’s still pissed off when Clarko sort of made an example of him after he missed that straight in front goal during the Freo game .
Doubt it, he backed up with a couple of great goals the week later.

He's right on an edge for mine.
Pros:
Runs his guts out, great mark for his size and can slot a goal.

Negs:
Prone to a poor kick (particularly in that 25-30m range) and is incredibly fumbly below his legs at times. The latter is potentially lethal in a smaller player.

One of a handful of players that needs to do a lot right to hold his position. Arguably is at his best at a medium leadup forward and based on exposed talent to date someone like Paul Curtis would be overtaking him in the next 12-18 months.

IN- Hall, Curtis, Bergman, Goater.

OUT- Simpkin (INJ), Turner, Shiels (rest) and Greenwood.

With Simpkin out, Zurhaar will need to play 50% midfield at least rather than 20-80 split which he’s been doing. Would roll Cunnington forward and have Zurhaar/ Curtis rolling through the midfield to add some speed and a different dynamic.

Not a fan of Howe, however if he wasn’t dropped last week he won’t be dropped this week, was far from the worst. Wouldn’t mind CCJ in however don’t think can play Comben/Larkey/ CCJ at Metricon in those conditions.

Most alarming thing yesterday other then the turnovers was the glaring lack of speed we had, needs to be addressed.
