Tipped Brisbane.

Too many changes to ignore and after a slogfest in WA, plus the long trip makes me think no.

But I changed my tip to Adelaide too, so please, ignore this idiot.

i think in true west coast style, we will either lose a game against the worst team in the competition, or we will smash the lions by 80+ points and look like world beaters.
Give your guys some credit - if they lose its because we aren't the worst side in the competition.

Just think our mids next year starting could be Lycett, Sheed, Yeo and college/tunners, the thought of that make me happy in pants.

To be fair to brissy they beat north last home game . Not going to be easy especially with our outs ! Wellingham out might be to our advantage :) when is his contract up ?

Smith and possibly Wilson to play their first games of the year, Brennan played his first last week and McGinnity (apart from a last-minute inclusion as the sub in Geelong) the week before that. Pretty clear Simpson is having a look at the players on the verge of being axed at the end of the year.

Yep, seasons gone a players on the fringe are playing for a contract. We need to know who offers something and who doesn't.

If we get lucky we fatten up a couple for trade with exposure.

We will certainly know a bit more about the possible delistings after the next couple of weeks.
expect some of the fringe players to be trialed in a number of roles.
should be interesting watching.

Cant see us winning, but very happy to see Tunbridge get more game time.
Hopefully we play Tunbridge in a midfield role to give us some size and speed in the centre.

Still don't understand what Butler and McGinnity offer our side.

Why? It would be the worst midfield in the league. That's not to say they won't be good one day but they would get smashed.

Butler - agreed

I think Patricks toughness and heart has won him a spot. But he doesn't add to the future, well aware of that. Wellers could do with some if that heart & mongrel.

Probably so a player like Wellingham can watch on tv and see McGinnity playing with some ticker and realise what he has to do to get selected
