Changes vs Richmond

Thoughts here guys?? Gut feel is we're a better balanced team with some more silk in the side, so I'd be very tempted to include Hrovat and hunter. Balance that with rewarding the guys (honey and goodes most likely) that gave the effort in round 1.

Redpath was plain awful, and Minson looked like he needed more help. So again, tempted to flip redpath for cordy. But I'd lean towards showing some faith in redpath. Let's give him an extended run at it and find out if he can play at this level.

Think Hrovat has to come in but for whom I have absolutely no idea! Whoever will be very stiff.
Minson should be fine next week by himself against Maric.

Redpath was poor indeed, looked more like a bush footballer than an AFL standard player. All pre-season I have been so impressed with him and wanted him to succeed but one more performance like that and it could be a long year at VFL for him. Depending on matchups against Richmond, I would probably give him another chance.
Honeychurch was a real livewire and earned his spot yesterday. I'm not sure how long he can keep out the likes of Hrovat, Hunter or Daniel with such poor disposal.
Can't see any need for much change yet.

Yeah Honey's disposal not brilliant and seemed to fade out, with his endeavour he could well be a good sub - personally not sold on Honey, every game this year so far his disposal efficiency has been at levels that are far worse than M Boyd...

Grant's additional speed would be great to pressure someone like Houli who simply cannot handle pressure but will chop you up if you give him space. Houli is the guy that the Tiges rely on too much, shut him down and they are very vulnerable coming out of the backline.

I wouldn't like to see Goodes keeping out any of Hrovat, Stevens, Hunter or even Webb. So IMO Goodes has to go out for one of those, probably Hrovat.

Redpath's performance didn't excite, but assume he will get another go, shudder to think what someone like Rance might do to him though.

Watching the replay, Honeychurch does not deserve to be dropped. Loved his bouncing run out of defence and delivery to Stringer 50 metres downfield. Also turned the ball over with a ferocious tackle, leading to a goal.
And I can't see Redpath going after just one week. He's earned his spot for now, just needs to take a couple of those grabs.
Very tough to change a winning combination. The VFL boys will have to wait a bit.

Hrovat and Hunter are simply better players than Honeychurch playing in the same position so at least one of them have to come in. Honeychurch's skill level at the moment isn't anywhere near afl standard, he has to improve which he can but he's not ready at the moment. Goodes again had the same issues he's had in the past at afl level where he struggles with the step up in intensity.

I actually thoght Honey played a bit better of a game than people are giving him credit for - sure his disposal was average but he's not in the team for that, he's in the team to be a pest and I thought he did a great job of being a pest.

Stevens for Goodes for me.
