To me it's a case of if their first priority after being a contested player is skills then Mackenzie is the man.
If they want more consistancy, lower skills and a lower ceiling it's clark.
If they want an absolute bull at the contest then it get's very interesting and here is where we are talking about my potential huge surprise for a top 10 pick from when i mentioned it.
I'm guessing it's E.Hewett the huge surprise 😮

The name has now been mentioned in the thread multiple times but hadn't been up until that point. Has even been mentioned in the media now.
Brayden George?

None of guys seriously think that WCE_phil is going to confirm "the mail he has" as to which "bolter" is now in top 10 contention.

You have more chance reading tomorrow that Trevor Nisbett has announced that he intends to step down at the end of the 2023 season.

Hollands. Going to GC.

Hollands is the opposite, thought he was certain to GC and it may all be a ploy to throw off the scent but not so certain anymore.

I think a lot of recruiting teams are playing games with each other at the moment and the football media factory has to keep printing shit for the machine to roll on so we'll see.

I won't have more of an idea until about 3 days out from the draft for 1 team and won't have much of an idea about others until the day of the draft.

2 teams are trying to make a play up the order or on the day depending on who is available. I could genuinely see WCE first pick slide 2-3 slots if the right player is still there and the clubs first choice is taken.

There’s 33 days to endure before the draft so guessing passes the time

Considering throwing a name out there every day until then so I can claim I got it right. Otherwise known as the Hagdorn method

I can comment on this one, I can't comment on who is trying to trade up, who they are trying to trade up for etc.

You're working with the Tigers I'm pretty sure.

Hazzard a guess at any of the below (we should make them pay dearly if they're that hungry)

St.Kilda - 9, 28 (Humphrey/Ginbey)
Carlton - 10, 29 (Busslinger)
Bulldogs - 11, 21 (Phillipou)

WCE 8, F4 (+token pick 70+)?

All comes down to the math in the end..

How far back would we accept trading pick 9 and who has the picks to temp us?

Answer likely is GWS or Swans. Who would they pay overs for to jump ahead 2, 3 or 4 places?

The player my guess would be either Phillapou or Busslinger at 9 if they were available, possibly Humphrey. Tsatas would be a big slide but possible.

My bet based on absolutely nothing is that saints want Humphrey after missing out on JDG

Today’s form guide from Twomey would have us taking Phillipou and Hewett (according to rankings). Would be a great outcome but I’m sure OBrien sees it differently.

If we got Phillipou and Hewett I'd be very interested in Harry Barnett as a future ruck option with one of our second rounders'.

Surprised to see Keeler is not his top 30
He was there in September, effectively replaced by Barnett in this update

Charlie Clarke who has some fans on this board for our last pick also dropped out, replaced by Rowston

Darcy Jones not getting a mention either
