Cody Simpson one for next year, was awesome in prelim last week. Frangalas number 8 another, Shipp 47 is like Young from Freo. Nelson another good defender for next year.

Sandy - Will Brown a very good player for next year, number 4. Sanders 28 and 9 Roberts.

The weight Mackenzie puts on his kicks is sublime.
Very rare that an inside mid has his pace and his kicking skills.
Wouldn't mind if we selected him even as early as pick 2. Just an exceptional talent.

That was incredible from Sheezel.
Just ran past one Stingray and pushed another off the ball in the forward pocket and then snapped from over his shoulder for his third goal.

Sheezel probably North bound you’d assume. If not, he would appear to tick a lot of boxes.

Address pure mids with our other picks. Go best talent at 2. Sheezel has the X Factor, and should be able to rotate through the middle anyway.

I think with our 29 30 range there are still good options with these players in the mix:

D'Aloia ( I like that pick of yours), Edmends, Burgiel, Darcy Jones, Dowling and Konstanty.

The cornerstone to what tumbles out to us in the early to mid twenty's , is IMO, very much is determined by just when the run comes on KPP .
I have only six that I would consider using a top 20 pick on and after that next cluster of potential KPP sit around the 30+ mark.
Not before 30, but I can see a team reaching a tad to ensure that they get a KPP I think these names then come into play:
Petric, Scaife, ( Both these two Petric and Scaife are very under ratted ) Van Es, Foster.

Keeler is going to be an interesting watch as I think on raw talent alone he doesn't get out of the top 20 and then there is the conundrum, of just where someone takes the punt and calls Lemmey's name out, on talent alone he is top 20.
I realise there are issue at play with Lemmey but he will be hard for a SA teams in particular, to pass altogether on him, someone is going to potentially get a steal with him.

Now this may be a very parochial view but I still think that somewhere latter, or even rookie, someone takes a punt on Corey Tregenza-Cashell as there is just something about him, a certain swagger, that gives me the impression that he could be a real surprise packet at the next level.
His goal sense and accuracy in the Colts in the back end of the season is very hard to ignore, dare I say there is a bit of Brody Mihocek about him thats worth a punt.

Would love somewhere in out latter mix, or rookie, to pick up Max Knobel .... raw as but I do like what I have seen from him at the Championships.

Pumping up a few WA prospects

With Tregenza-Cashell I think you're mistaking swagger for what i'd call issues. In the champs deliberately started ironing out blokes late, and honestly isnt good enough to be flaunting it like that. Is 19 as well so should be dominating in theory with that extra year of development.
Is the type I would immediately would draw a line through based on what you see off the ball.

Scaife hasn't got a lot of love but is probably WA's best key fwd prospect. I have him down as a late ND or rookie pick but I think we can look for quality over the next few years so would pass on him at this stage.

Wasn't for one minute suggesting that WE should draft him, more so just putting out names that I think have been overlooked.

I know that one Victorian Club is looking at him as a good value late pick, if Fremantle don't match.

But with the rate that Freo players are asking for release from the Club , he may well be needed by The Unwashed.

Has played seriously good games in all half a dozen games I've watched him in and usually best on ground or thereabouts.
Has been better than Ashcroft in all of them as well.

Having been strong that we go a balanced or inside mid at 2, I am actually OK if we go Sheezel at 2 then an inside and balanced mid at 20 and 26

Very keen to get Lions pick 15. It might require selling a future second to Suns to get them out of bidding for 15 and us enough points to trade down.

A haul of Sheezel, Hotton and Hathwaite at 2, 15 and 20 would be great. Take a tall at the Rioli compo or ours if we have Port’s future R2
