Oliver can request a trade all he likes, but I would be absolutely shocked if Melbourne entertained a trade. Nor should they, he's contracted and will be their best player for the next 10 years.

Unless..... Truth to this?
I think you might find that’s a pisstake.

How do you know Melbourne might not be working on flipping those picks for other mature players? Like a combination of Ben Brown/Isaac Smith/Tom Phillips? Players who fill more of a need.

Not saying they'd use all the Oliver picks on those guys but could be broken up to help get them in.
We’d want better player/s than the ones you mentioned.

They can get those players without giving Oliver up.

Melbourne is not "giving up" Oliver. He is under contract.

Oliver is orchestrating a trade to get out. I hope Dimma doesn't stifle his development like Goodwin did.
You are not "giving up" on this nonsence. What do u get out this crap? Attention? is that somehting you really lack? cmon mate its just stupid

Pick 7 and McKay or pick 7, sps and future first with future second back. Contracted, bnf winner, aa and 23. You can have him. Just pay

FWIW I don't think any of this is talk true, but what about just the 2 firsts straight up for Oliver and nothing else?

Not a chance

Not a chance

Can I ask which part are you saying no to? My suggestion was a hypothetical if he decided to leave? I did say that I don't think any of this is true, my suggestion basically drops the SPS for a 2nd round pick...

First Oliver is contracted.

Melbourne this year finished 9th with 9 wins 8 losses and a percentage of 107.8%. just missed finals by 2 points.

Melbourne want go build and move up into the top 8.

2 draft picks meaning 2 raw 18 year olds isn’t going to help that cause. That’s a recipe for going down the ladder.

Melbourne are better off keeping Oliver and convincing him to stay.

Unless Melbourne are getting top quality players back to help push us into the finals, there’s no point trading Oliver away.

All valid points, but my point was if he was stead fast in leaving alah Saad, 2 firsts straight up, values him, higher, than Treloar, Shiel and any other mid that has been traded the last 5 years

Your trading in SPS with a 2nd round pick, so that trade is basically moot... you'd be better off using the 2 1sts to try in trade in another premium mid to continue your push back to the top 4...
