I know right. 💯 they knew. I never doubted they'd all be playing. Did you?

The way Edmund in particular was carrying on about it, l thought those players were getting put down!!!....
He was rambling on like a disappointed Carlton supporter, not like a professional journalist....

I think I'd prefer Ginni, Frampton & AJ to get full games in the VFL to work on all aspects of their game. WHE would not have lost any fitness with this injury, still running, etc & we know what we get with Will. And he's more versatile than those 3 if needed early in the match. But that's just my opinion. 😉
Agreed. Some underestimate his value to the team - he'll always run games out, as will Sidey.
WHE is a bit quicker than Sidey.

Blues media and fans just putting out pre-emptive excuses. They have a couple injuries, but not the number that constitutes a valid excuse for losing.

If they lose , it's due to injuries. If they win, they're the real deal & world beaters. But they'll all tell you we are pretenders anyway.

Go figure.

Fair enough. Just think he should have come back through the VFL with other options available. His last game was 2 possessions on a wing in a half while others have been dropped performing better.

You talk as if you’re in the middle of some type of dynasty. You haven’t won a flag in 10 years. And before you say it, yes I know your miles above us, and we’ve been absolute trash for decades. But my point is you need to actually win something before you start talking like you’re the king pins.

No, we are just enjoying the resurgence of our club. Considering we were forecasted for doom and gloom, a couple of years ago by the so called experts, with our trading and list management decisions described as diabolical.
Well two years in, we have made a preliminary final in 2022 and now currently sit two games clear on top of the ladder, coming into the home straight of the 2023 H&A season.
Funny thing is the media had you guys well ahead of us in terms of playing list, and Carlton was destined for success, whilst we will be down the bottom of the ladder for a few years to come.
Well we all know how that's working out....🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wouldn’t say so necessarily. Ruscoe for example will get a game ahead of all of them for example if we lose a defender or two and will perform fine. Similarly McRae is a chance if we need an inside mid.

They are all legitimate depth deoending upon need. Of any of them, Harrison probably the furthest away because he’s got two small forwards ahead of him
I would. Frampton>another player within the mix rolling back>Ruscoe. Ginnivan/ Hill/ Harrison in Adams/ Crisp into the middle>Macrae/ Bianco. I could do this with any convoluted mix of injuries you can come up with because we’re talking about guys ranked 28+ on the list with a combined 2 games to their name in 2023.

Why so negative? Mason is an important part of the team and has the X factor which can fire up the crowd and his teammates like no other.

Stats don't always tell the full story either, Cox's pressure acts and 1%ers have improved from previous years also.

Yep anyone that is still willingly hanging crap on Maso has NFI about his role in the side.

Maybe…just maybe…because we are huge rivals and we play tomorrow night?
As mentioned above, the rivalry isn't really a thing on our end anymore given that the blues have been fairly shit for a generation now. If you're gonna turn up here it should only be to kiss the ring.

I'm kidding btw. Good luck m8.
Nigeria $3.90 the draw
Are we sinking to racial stereotypes now?!

Who gives a fick what that irrelevant mob do, we saw Port rest 4/5 for their GF game against us and at C+ level performance we won it

Filth did / doing the same thing although it’s really 1 or 2 decent players, the rest wouldn’t get a game in our 2nds

This will be a walk in the park. Mark it down !

WHE could almost be the perfect super sub come finals.

Can go Forward and Wing and potentially behind the ball, has the tank and is a point of difference in our team.

Elite kick and great overhead also helps.

id say team balance is a factor with a full squad to choose from, hill being out takes away some run, WHE offsets that while ginni doesn’t

Markov coming into the 22 offsets the run of Hill doesn't it?

Who do you think has the potential to cover the loss of a goal kicking small forward better?

Ginnivan an actual small forward or Hoskin-Elliott a utility?

While I don't have any great issue with Ginnivan not being included Hill has kicked 22.11 to WHE 10.4 this season.

So is the extra 3 possessions per game of WHE (who averages the 16th most disposals per game for us in 22/23) worth more than the double scoring capacity of Hill?

Not for mine and it's why Ginnivan could have been a viable option.

FWIW a 19yo Ginnivan kicked 40.19 last season compared to WHE with 14.7. Nearly 3 times more scoring capacity for the cost of only 3.5 less possessions per game.

Who do you think was of more value to our team last season?

The slow Ginnivan or the quick WHE?

WHE won't be playing as a small forward.

We'll see McCreery have a more prevalent role around goal and i wouldn't be surprised to see the Daicos boys working their magic inside 50 more regularly.

There's a reason Ginni is playing through the midfield in the 2's. He's not overly close to selection.

Not sure sub is the best use of WHE's tank, but it's a bloody strong lineup!
He has great endurance like Sidey, so he's better off starting in the 22.
He'll keep running when others have run out of steam.
