I hope we aren't expecting a win tonight against the scum, I mean, they have beaten 4 of the worst sides in the comp and a Port that came with guns but no ammo, we should be afraid

May be right. Given the number of times we've had to make a charge in the last, I wouldn't be surprised for a Hill, or other attacking impact player, to be sub though. Someone who can have an impact playing a full game but too often either doesn't or for too few moments. As a sub he has the advantage of coming on when the oppo is tired and when we need to make a run - assuming not through injury - all year this has been the most attacking part of our game, injecting a pacy, attacking player at that time could be useful.I think it's the wrong way to look at it. Anyone who's going to come on and consistently have a big impact in a quarter and a half should be in the starting 22. The tactical sub comes on to play a role, allowing us to change the balance or dynamic and give some extra rotation. It'll be the last runner picked. It'll be a runner, because Maynard and WHE can play a tall role, but the talls can't play the small roles.
Agree. My point though is that you're still picking what you consider to be the best starting 22, but then when it comes down to the 23rd you may think one person is more suited than another for a reason like that. Eg - I think WHE is a lock for the 23, because if he doesn't make the 22, he's a better sub than others due to his running, flexibility and the range of roles he can play. But you're not going to play him as sub if you think he improves the first 22 - he'll be in the first 22.May be right. And it will be those facts commentators will use to down play our victory if we smash them. They've beaten Hawthorn, Freo, West Coast and a Port Adelaide side that rested like 8 players.
The hype at the moment for them is laughable.
Who’s place is Ginnivan taking?Who's that a dig at Hill supporters or Ginnivans?
I'd have both in my 22 when in form.
We as supporters can, as long as the players don'tWe can't just expect a win, we need to go and take it.
Interested if still available! Can't seem to be able to send a PM, is there any way for you to contact me?Feel confident for tonight. Woulld.love a 10 goal smashing. Snuff them out. In Sydney tonight so cant make the game. Have 2 tickets for anyone who would like to use them. Let me know . Will check in through the day to see if anyone interested. Free to a good Collingwood home
haha yes, exactly. We as supporters can, as long as the players don't
The blues will throw everything at us early, 100% then they'll fall because they wont be able to keep up.I expect an early challenge from the Blues then a fizzle out from them, then a comprehensive win to the Pies.
I reckon the MCG will have lots of empty seats halfway through the last quarter as the Blues supporters waddle off back to their cave of delirium.
We still have to ensure we finish top 2.I think Carlton make finals anyway but wouldn’t mind making them squirm for the remainder of the season. But also I really don’t care about tonight we got bigger issues to worry about than a meaningless round 18 or whatever we’re up to game

Yes, their "entire midfield" is apparently missing. In fact, only 5 of their top 6 'centre bounce attendances' players will line up tonight.... crippling. No no, it will be the injuries
so why wasn’t he recalled?
I’m suggesting it’s team balance, it’s not a best 22 but a best 23, Markov’s elevation to the starting 22 still means we’d be down a runner from the side we fielded last week, if we’re in a situation like last week we we’re lacking run WHE can provide it.
Not being a smart arse, but can you think of another reason beside team balance that has ginni overlooked?
No! That concedes a win to the tagger through reduced opportunities for Nick.
