Need to be creative today with how many talls are on the field.

Tough conditions for Tex, Fog, Thilthorpe, Obrien.

Need Rachele and Rankine to turn one on!!

My mates and I go to a match in Melbourne every year plus finals. We have never seen a Crows victory over Collingwood in Melbourne (I think we are 0-6). Anyone who thinks we will win today has never seen a Peanuts cartoon.

Victoria Park; 0 wins - 6 losses. Thank god we were too young and too scared to attend any of these. Check out the replay of the 1998:eek:ne point loss.

Docklands; 4 wins - 3 losses. I wonder why we don’t play them at Docklands anymore?

MCG; 3 wins - 8 losses and a draw.

We are also 8 Wins - 15 losses in Adelaide .

The last 8 games are 7 losses and a draw.

You’re telling me we’re a chance? Tell him he’s dreamin!
I think we have two important factors going for us this time:

1. Our game style should suit the wide wings and near-circular shape of the MCG
2. We lost to Collingwood mere weeks ago by one point

That doesn't mean we're likely to win, but it's a better chance than playing Geelong at Geelong.

My prediction is that we'll lead for a brief time in the 1st quarter, keep in the game but the Pies get a run-on sometime in the 2nd half, and we lose by about 2-4 goals. Collingwood by 23.

According to the Collingwood board both Beau McCreery and Billy Frampton aren't playing VFL today.

I wonder if Howe is a starter?

I often have this weird confidence against good sides but not today. Feels like we'll get shut down early and then just have a procedural loss where we get on little rolls before getting shut down. Collingwood have been simmering on their Melbourne loss for two weeks while we effectively had a training run where everything went our way 2 weeks ago.

I dont know if this type of post isn't allowed so please delete if no good but I have 2x tickets next to the cheer squad (next bay over but on the end of the row so you could shake hands with them (or whoever is sitting behind them, do they take up the whole bay or just the first few rows? Been to so many games but never gave a shit). First in gets them.

Also, to add to earlier thoughts I'm ready to lose, I just want to be in the contest early. If the margin goes out to 4 goals it might stay that way the whole game, Pies conserving their energy keeping us at bay while we burn it and then run out of gas. Seen them do that to a few sides this year.

I'm predicting a heartbreaking 5 point loss. 83-78

For those hoping for a narrow win today, out of the 48 games between Collingwood and the Crows there have been 15 results of less than a goal.

We have had 3 Wins, 1 Draw, 11 losses.
Not even god will give us a break, so many heartbreaking losses……It happened, right in front of me etc

On the train in

First metropolitan Melbourne game I've been to since Rnd 2 last season

Really is a joke how infrequently we play here

There'd be non-SA clubs who play at Adelaide Oval more frequently than we play here * (no idea if true but having a guess)
