I’ve got Smillie, Ashcroft, FOS, Jagga, Draper, Trainor and Lombard ahead of him. The post you’re referring to was mids only I believe. Whitlocks, Shanahan, Faull and O’Farrell will push too.
Ashcroft and Lombard should be taken out of the list though. Lions and Suns picks will be sold to the highest bidder.

I haven't been convinced any of the talls are potential top 10 candidates.

Why. So then someone replies about how Lions want Oscar and then you can chime in pretending you didn’t bring it up in the first place?
I didn't want to have the post with all the laughing emoji's.
An Oscar trade doesn’t make any sense for us at all. He’s contracted and a free agent next year. If he left next year he’s likely generate a pick around 4-5.

So it would have to be considerably more than that to get done, and Lions don’t really have anything or anyone we want.

Most of your players are either old or slow, or both.

Pick 6 + F1 + extras likely wouldn’t get it done.

It’s a moot talking point.
You'd have to go back and read the full conversation on our board, before Allen was introduced to the discussion. The short of it is, we've supposedly got someone lined up next year as free agent. That's the rumour any way.

It’s a list on talent, inclusive of the advantages afforded to our dear friends in QLD. Suns may just want to get above Lombard rather than trade down but more likely they’ll want to bring in players like D Rioli.

Trainor is and I think the Roos will offer their F1 to get him, the others so far I agree don’t fall into that bracket but let’s have the discussion after the champs. Another chance for Shanahan tomorrow.

Yes, I gathered that, and your ITK might be right that you have someone lined up.

I doubt it’s Oscar, but he is a free agent, so of course he could be testing the market.

Sounds to me more like a discussion point on your board than on ours.

Not a draft head. But it seems early in the piece;

1. Smilie
2. Smith
3. ?

Smith seems from reports having more impact than FOS so far, but I am sure someone well adverse being draft watcher could correct me?

And that I am asking, Draper before FOS because it looks like both will be available at three IMO.

Also, there hasnt been a KPP bolting to the top yet, which could also change things and especially for Norf.
Jagga is a vic mummies boy who doesn't want to leave Melbourne.
Big no from me

Nope. Either throw the pick at Sydney this year for Warner or take a mid.

I think today shows we will end up second or third last, pick 2 or 3. I don't want to split this.

Why would we try and go above and beyond for a trade this year, we’re forcing a round peg in a square hole at this point of time.

Warner is next year and next year only.

I’d be very surprised on Oscar wanting out.

Perth boy, Perth missus and Captain of his boyhood club and will be well paid. Clubs would have to throw one hell of a cheque!

I don’t think he’d want out but do have to factor in he’ll be spending his prime in a bottom 4-6 club and by the time we’re ready to contend IF all goes to plan he’ll be 30 odd, he’s already pretty injury prone as well.

I'm not even going to give that nuffie thread and the idea of an Oscar trade one second of oxygen it's that dumb.

Let's talk about Preuss plz, is he back on??

Bro literal was like “don’t search for one of your players on our board…. You’d hate what you find” just to then be able to openly talk about Oscar on our board and pretend he didn’t bring it up himself

I do love that versatility in his game, really liked his work late in the game within the centre.

Just on the NT, that's not part of GC zone anymore is it? Ran out a few years back from memory.

A poster on the Suns board saying NT is still a priority zone they can access pre draft.

P3 for North F1?.. basically guarantees Sharp. Not sure I’m doin it but could b some 4D chess move if Sharp battles Harley for Norm Smiths.

Would not do that without something else included.

North could end up with pick 3 next year.

All these developing young guns will start moving them up the ladder at some point.

Last thing we need is to prolong the list build by pushing picks further out.

Tbh, what we need to do is the opposite and try and bring in more talent through the draft -or young talent via trade- sooner.

I actually said, can someone go and search and post it here.

Everything you’ve posted above is a demonstration of your poor comprehension skills.

Proves my point, wanting someone to drag a conversation point from your board over on to our board so you can engage in it here.

Don’t think your D grade post is somehow slick and went unnoticed.

If you want to talk about Oscar Allen and potentially targeting him for free agency, you should probably do it on your board, and not ours.

Especially given Oscar’s contract hasnt once come up in all my time on this board.

You are on an oppo board, and should reman concious of that.

I would love to see the Poll for the 2nd half of the season, excluding Smilie who the board wants out of

FOS,
Smith,
Draper,
Trainor; and Moraes / Hotton / Lalor

Had a preference for Moraes, but having seen us yesterday I think we should be preferncing Draper just based more on the fact he’s more contested than Moraes is.

In an ideal world we have inside players that release Reid and Hewett to alternate mid/fwd and do a lot of damage in front half.

I’m basing this on having pick 3-4 and FOS being gone.
