Rioli is the one that stings... pick 40 for him was an absolute joke.
Rioli and port had us over a barrel . The club wouldve looked extremely bad not getting him where he wanted to go after his 100% self inflicted trauma

need to get as much as we can but not a bad outcome if we nail the picks. Just need baker to re-sign. Will likely be depressed watching Tommy running around poo and pee colours but reckon the hype around him next years gonna be off the scale. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets that AA.

Really hope the likes Allen/Waterman really get up against the Hawks next year and not allow him to peel off easy intercepts

Tom run? After this year I assume he will be claiming a Zimmer frame.

Tom failed the integrity test. Good to move him on to my mind. I liked the words from the club about he is contracted and best interests of the club. New CEO and List Management are not the old boys of the past.
Integrity test?...he's approaching the end of his career and Hawthorn apparently have offered him a better deal than we are likely to match. I'm not sure what the criteria is around the "integrity test", but he has been a great player and an exemplary part of our team for a long period. Given where we're at, this is a positive move for both parties (subject of course to a reasonable deal with Hawthorn).

I didn't want to reflect on his back issue, but it is part of the equation and with Harry, Rhett and Jamo still hanging around this move makes perfect sense.

Good luck Tom (if you do depart), you've been a great servant of the club.

Kelly
Rioli
Wellingham
Scott Selwood
Ebert
Brockman (could’ve got him for nothing)

Off the top of my head but I’m sure there’s more, I don’t recall ever walking away feeling like we won or played hard ball like other clubs do, we generally give clubs what they want and accept the bare minimum when clubs want our players
A long time ago but we reamed Pt Adelaide years ago with the Downsborough trade that got us a number 1 pick, and the Dockers a couple of times.

I'm glad its now public. Good statement from the club as well.

Good luck Tom, get value ffs Eagles.
Its stupid that if he went under free agency we would likely get pick 4. So theres a starting point for the hawks to work to.

Slightly different topic, but man what I would give up to have a Lewis Jetta kicking the ball out of the backline.

Found myself watching his 2018 highlights and his kicking and skills in general were god-level.

Wouldn't mind him as a skills coach If he's up for it.
