Yes they do, I was was essentially saying if Schofield is moved on then Ryan is more likely to move too.

Ryan to Gold Coast would be fantastic. Likely to get a better pick and we can contribute salary. Although I do feel like he’s the key to getting Knobel if he’s interested in playing for Freo.

Would rather Ryan to GC for pick 20.

If Bolton and Pickett head to Freo they don't need Ryan though.

Ryan to Gold Coast is a terrible move for us. Once Rioli comes in Gold Coast have bugger all to give. Probably going to try offer us a pick upgrade which im not interested in

I'm not a huge fan of Pickett.

His habit of jumping off the ground to flatten opponents is not a great look or football act.

And when he celebrates a goal you just want to slap the kid.

Fair chance every season he cops suspensions that will only get longer.

Im a fan, a pick 13 for Pickett fan. Not a pick 13 + 23 fan.

Id just be happy with someone who has the courage to try to flatten someone to be honest.

At Eagles he will also be getting more midfield minutes. He probably fills a role we havnt had in like forever which is that HFF who can jump into the midfield so its a bit odd in that sense

One aspect of all of this also is I do think he fits the age profile... as does Peatling. Baker not so much. Gotta look at his age a bit and think we can make him better then he is still

Hate the chat of giving up F1 for Kozi, but would give up Barass compo for him (well the first rounder that we get). He's only 23.

Kozi buzzing around the F50 with Waterman and Allen as targets. Keep Ryan.

That's out forward line set up for ~7-8 years.

Just need midfielders to get it to them.

Makes Baker redundant as well which is good as don't need him / need to give up capital for him.

Kozi moving into the middle for 5 minute spells while Reid rests forward would also be delicious.

We may need to split one of higher picks just to generate more picks.

Looks like it, have been told value wise is easily worth a top ten pick, I simply don't know how to value or place him but can play mid and forward, ideally just the Barrass pick.

Kosi's a little overrated for mine.
We still have too many holes on our list to give up too much for him. Hawks first rounder 12-18 is worth it though (maybe add a darling if interested) - but I would be hoping to keep whatever else we negotiate for Barrass.
We just can't be going to this draft with 2 decent picks and trading our F1 will be a bad move long term.

It's not ideal to rebuild, but you have a potential rebuild coming anyway, so better off going a couple of years early before Tassie comes in and destroys the draft. If you can load up with picks for Petracca, Kozi, ANB, and whoever else over 25 you want to send off it's not the end of the world.

I just feel once you work through the Rioli and Noble trades and then you got the matching the Lombardo bid not much is left over for little ol Liam Ryan
