How on earth is he worth more than Barrass. Not in the same universe. Kosi averages 12 touches a game. We got plenty of them already who don't get it enough.
Kosi can go to Freo, we don't need him. We already got him.
Yeah we've got loads of young small forwards kicking 30 or 40 goals a year whilst applying defensive pressure in the forward 50. We're just teeming with them

Get both, get Peatling from GWS, that's 3 best 22 players. Gives us instantly a harder edge. Would make getting Graham as a FA more acceptable as well.

If we can somehow achieve the above whilst keeping pick 3 and our f1 and also get access to Champion that would be quite an amazing haul.

Enough to suggest these are all legitimate links to these players which makes me think we are definitely asking for some priority picks.
Phil's Dad out there rattling cages

priority picks would make sense if we are making this many moves. Guys like Peatling and Baker is a good way to go about it too, better than what North did with their picks

My thinking as well, priority pick f2 for Baker, ppf3 for Peatling.

Thread is moving so fast it's hard to keep up. Is Ryan wanting out? Kosi wants to come to WA rather than SA?

Keys any chance to add a rumours summary & source pinned on top of this thread?
Great idea, coming up.

facts:
GCS on record saying they want established talent
GCS have pick 6, WBD R1 and 20
GCS traded Rankine to Crows in 2022
GCS in recent history over pay in picks for players

Opinion:
GCS and COLL are likely to swap Noble and Davies

They’ll have plenty of points and I’m confident WBD pick or pick 20 would be on the table if Ryan indicated a desire to get to the Suns
They have to pick Lombard up though? Its a bit risky for them to chuck away a heap of picks and hope he slides i feel

Kozi is worth more than Barrass, we need to get a decent sweetener from Tommys trade. Something will have to give, either F1 or split 3 I imagine
Kozi is worth more than Barrass?

An inconsistent forward pocket who goes in and out of games vs an elite kpd. KPPs are crucial to the structure of a team, the rest of the team is built around them.

Is there even a skerrick of a hint of a suggestion that he’d even think about indicating a desire to move to the Gold Coast?

Does he have a single link with anyone or anything there? Other than the fact that there’s a football club based there and he’s a football player?

They have picks 6, 13ish, 20, 26, 34, 46, 70 so I’ll leave you to do the maths but they have more than enough points even if they trade 6 for Rioli, and then 13 or 20 for Ryan.

If they leave the draft with Rioli, Ryan, Noble, Lombard and a couple of late picks or rookies they will be doing cartwheels.

He won't do that with us as we have no midfield. We must fix the midfield first mate.
Or you know, we could do both?
Getting him in doesn't mean we're going to be ignoring the midfield.
Obviously I don't want to trade our 1st or future 1st for Kosi but if we can get him for some lesser picks then it's a complete no brainer imo.
Take the way he plays out of the equation and look at his stats compared to someone like Phil Matera. He compares very favourably to him at the same age, if a 23 year old Matera came knocking on your door asking to join your team would you say no?

Wow this is priming to be one hell of a trade period for us.
If we do somehow manage to get Picket that would mean we will have a few young bulls who DGAF about the hurt they dish out.
If Hewett can sort those feet out he, Harley and Kossie would be a pretty destructive trio along with Yeo.
What a turnaround from the play nice team we have been for the past few years. Might even bring out a bit of mongrel from a few others.
I say bring it the F on.

Much appreciated if this is possible. Way too hard to keep up with the key takeaways when 90% is speculation and shit talking.

But it's a good way to note who's going to hell for playing the stock market.

He is very over rated. Like Ryan he has a heap of talent but he is very inconsistant and it is these types of players the Eagles need to have very few of.
I hope we don't go after Picket, we need midfielders and ball movers as a priority. Not small forwards. Baker and Graham must be ahead of Picket.
He's the sixth ranked non-key forward.
