Witho and Culley seem to be hanging around. That’s a good start. Keeping both Flynn and BWill healthy so one can play WAFL will help our young mids immensely. They better pull their finger out and put a team on the park that’s actually going to assist development.
has there been any noise around who WC are chasing and who is out of our WAFL side?

Are people seriously writing off Allan allr....... 🤣🤣🤣

Your GIF indicates someone is punching you before you can finish talking. Stay safe.

Freo huh? 🤫

Everyone knows the secret to good footy disposal is having an onion tied to your belt. That's why skills have been so shit since the dicketies.
We all know that tight shorts are the secret to kicking skills. Nobody wanted to have their left nut dangling out of their shorts after kicking so were more focussed,

In 5 years we will be all lamenting fact we drafted athleticism over football skills after we've seen the 10th unforced turn over of the game.

It is going to be so good to pick Fred and Cody in the 2025 draft and to reply that they trained under Freo but they did not want them. And who gives a sh1t whether they had the picks to get them

Are Freo planning on not making the finals again? Struggle to see how they’d have the draft capital to draft either of them otherwise.

Others at training today

Banfield is considered one of WA’s best young prospects for next year’s draft.

He was joined by East Perth’s Jake Caton and Swan Districts forward Tylah Williams as academy prospects who will spend time at the club over the summer.

Wes Walley and Koby Evans are also part of the Eagles Academy, but are away in the AFL Academy camp this week.

Jake Caton (East Perth) is a 184cm small defender based on the footage I've seen.
Tylah Williams (Swan Districts) is a 176cm small forward

We have until 19/12 to decide who to add as a SSP signing if we want to make a decision pre-Christmas

Alternatively, there’s another window from 13/1-21/2 next year if we haven’t decided

Suspect we’ll make a decision this side of Christmas if for no other reason than to not leave the guys training on hanging for 3 weeks over the break. Seems like a bit of a campaignerish thing to do.

February 21 also looms as a bit of a critical date for Sheed. If he hasn’t been able to significantly increase his training loads by then, or breaks down trying to, then we need to consider if we carry him into the season underdone or bite the bullet and use his list spot for someone who can play

If Sheed can’t ramp up his loading we could also give him the option of going onto the LTI list before the SSP closes. Although if we did then take both Burgiel and Brock via the SSP then Sheed could only come back and play if another player was placed onto the LTI list.

Surely we don't have the luxury of walking into the season with a bloke permanently on the pine.

We're bound to pick up loads of injuries again, no point willingly leaving the Beagles short if we don't have to.

Petch may chase a premium on free agency market given small pool. There are LDU and brayshaw but next tier down, not much.

Especially if he kicks 30 sausages.

You know your list isnt in a great spot when you see this

Imagine if we matched a bid

Petch having good year when he’s due to be a FA would be a huge result. As others have commented he is one that may benefit and improve form the new game plan. Having said that if he has a good year and a band 3 offer comes through for him I wouldn’t even think about matching it.
