It’s time now to fully turn our attention to the off season and what we can do through the trade period/draft to chase down Melbourne in 2022.

All this English talk reminds me when Jason Johanassen was out of contract. Rumours spread that west coast was into him big time, then he signed for big dollars early in the season. Dogs overpayed for a crab that has been average since.

West Coast rarely leaks their intentions to the media so early in the piece. This screams of English's manager floating a rumour so the Dogs pay big money to keep his inconsistent client.

Or it is that Nic is 31 turning 32 with no heir apparent standout.

Which means we need to get an established ruck. And English has a partner playing for West Coast Fever, just extended her contract and just purchased a house in Freo.
