Hayden's kidRelative of Hayden or Adrian Burgiel?
Charke is for this year, actually got to play one or two games last year around the Metro v country game/ trials. What'd you think of Rye Penny?
Ran a 2.8ish at testing. Good chance he gets drafted.Thank you.
Does the early top 4 consensus look something like Wardlaw, Ashcroft, Tsatis, Leemey ?I
IMO Tsatsis was BOG. Wardlaw gets a lot of the ball but he refuses to handball to bring his teammates into the game. Tsatsis is very patient and shows a lot of poise. Drury was good with 3 or 4 snags. Weddle also had a lot of the ball.
Ashcroft and Sheezel were good. Sheezel to a nice contested mark to show off one of his tricks. Ashcroft is a workhorse on the inside. I like the way he goes about it.
Bottom agers for Oakleigh were good. Philactides and Badr were solid down back. Both playing HB. Philactides took a couple of nice contested grabs.
Sandringham - Brown and Roberts were their best 17 yr olds. Roberts showed some confidence down back. Brown did some nice things in the midfield.
I can’t see Oakleigh losingtoo many games this year.

I agree with this after 2 rounds. A couple of bottom agers at Oakleigh that have played both rounds that would be mids in any other NAB team. Hard for them to get minutes when wardlaw, Tstata Curry, Drury are in there Running a muck.just an update on 2023 talent i've been impressed by so far in 2022

I don't think I have seen shitter coverage of the NAB league on line (paper / articles) than this year.
Just trying to get team lists is proving a mission and lets not get started with the results page that you've got to jump through hoops of fire to find.
Any links to the Cannons team list (including numbers of players) please mate?
are mcauliffe and Moir 23 or 24 class? I’m sure I’ve been told before but can’t recall.just an update on 2023 talent i've been impressed by so far in 2022

i knew i would miss 1, i was just thinking while watching Melb V GWS wheather i added Davey in the list or not, then i saw you had responded asking the question, im editing him in as i type this, i liked his movement in round 1 although he wasnt as impactful as i wouldve liked, but he was sensational in the midfield in round 2, very quick and nimble, uses the ball well, depending on his champs he could rise potentially? his movement on the field is top tier, his disposal is above average, he doesnt get a lot of disposal and has not kicked many goals this year as a sml forw/mid, but i can see the potential there.eDPS seems to think Alwyn Davey Jnr is a first round prospect but not even on your radar?
Any thoughts on Davey at all?
Davey is slick. He’s a smooth mover. He doesn’t get a lot of the ball but in a FT environment he would improve significantly. Hes not a first rounder however he will get drafted.
Who does he remind you of stylistically? Not level but style / type of player to get excited about?i knew i would miss 1, i was just thinking while watching Melb V GWS wheather i added Davey in the list or not, then i saw you had responded asking the question, im editing him in as i type this, i liked his movement in round 1 although he wasnt as impactful as i wouldve liked, but he was sensational in the midfield in round 2, very quick and nimble, uses the ball well, depending on his champs he could rise potentially? his movement on the field is top tier, his disposal is above average, he doesnt get a lot of disposal and has not kicked many goals this year as a sml forw/mid, but i can see the potential there.
I’ve down played a lot of Essendon tied prospects over the years, not this time he likely won’t get the output that most first rounders would have but on potential he is certainly in the first round mix. Mac Andrew wasn’t the most productive player last year but on potential he was hard to ignore.Sounds like Ed is getting excited because he's an Essendon linked player but the performances aren't there (yet).
I didn't mean to take anything away from your observations mate, just unsure how a small forward who hasn't kicked many goals nor gets much of the ball is considered a first round prospect.I’ve down played a lot of Essendon tied prospects over the years, not this time he likely won’t get the output that most first rounders would have but on potential he is certainly in the first round mix. A ruck/key forward didn’t get a lot of the ball and didn’t kick many goals and went top 5 last year, not all first round prospects need to be productive.I didn't mean to take anything away from your observations mate, just unsure how a small forward who hasn't kicked many goals nor gets much of the ball is considered a first round prospect.
similar movement and size as his father, but i dont know if he will have the same impact, goal sense, quality or bravery as his dad had during his career.Sounds like Ed is getting excited because he's an Essendon linked player but the performances aren't there (yet).

Hello Davo, as a fellow Hawks supporter who would you say we should take with out first round pick which as of right now before the game against Geelong stands as pick 10?similar movement and size as his father, but i dont know if he will have the same impact, goal sense, quality or bravery as his dad had during his career.

Talking talls, Davo-27 Essendon desperately need a KPF and I am all for taking one with our first. IF we do indeed end up in that pick 5 - 9 range, who could we feasibly look at ? I want a genuine KPF not an undersized one nor a ruck converting to a KPF. One who can take a big mark and is a good kick for goal.Would you agree its presenting as the best draft for talls for some time. Regular poster on our board like LHayes for example.. do you see them all getting a chance at the champs?
