they also need to drop ****ing heppell he is so soft and slow, for an outside player he cant even penetrate lines with his kicking, he is a soft tackler, doesnt run hard enough I dont even know why he is in the ****ing team just living off last years success Jesus Bomber Thompson needs to wake this ****ing team and tell them how shit they all are and need to improve. Take out Jobe Watson and we are bottom four. Bloody pathetic to lose to North like that

Freo (in 9th) have a slightly easier run-in though. You need to match Freo's last three games - and even then the percentage difference is so small that it may not be enough if Freo thrash their opponents.

North aren't certainties yet. Highly probable though.

Are you actually Virat Kohli? Seems like the kind of thing he would do.

We'd have to lose all three. We have GWS in the last round & Freo here.

I expect us to lose to the Pies next week, but we're a massive chance to beat the Dockers here and GWS is a walkup win.

No. Percentage wise, you dropping two could be enough if Essendon and Fremantle win all three.

But, as I said, probable, given we're unlikely to beat Collingwood, and even if Collingwood and Fremantle annihilate you, GWS should be comfy.

Serious question, who are Essendons good players? Watson is one... .... Hurley is decent.... Hocking is decent..... That's three players and as for their outs... uh yea sure overhyped average personnel. Still on three with only one of those three what i would call good.

I'd hate to look up the ground and see that Colyer is about to place it on his boot. Sprays them like no one I've ever seen.

Yet the majority of his kicks somehow miraculously were to an Essendon player's advantage.

Wait a minute. Essendon went 8-1. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. Stanton is a big loss. Ryder is too. Zaharakis is a talented kid. I think Essendon have been unlucky with injuries this year. They're a top eight side for me. Now is not the time to stick in the boot, it's rather harsh to write off a side who just lost a relatively tight game.

Everyone is ignoring St Kilda. With their percentage, they are in the exact same position as Fremantle to mount an assault.

Not really, they're still a game behind.

Superior percentage won't count for much if they can't bridge that gap. A loss to Geelong next week would pretty much finish them.

Norths outs were far more significant then what Essendon had out and on top of that they had three players not on the bench yet won running away so how do you figure Essendon are a top 8 side?

They have the same opportunity as Fremantle though. If Fremantle can go up a position, so can St Kilda. Freo might have first dibs on it, but that's essentially what I was getting at. Next round, they could be above Essendon in the 8.

There are still 10 realistic clubs fighting for the 8.
