He's a ruckman again.
He replaced Seaby in the side for one or two games in the middle of this year and then became number one ruckman when cox went down.
Plus he's spent a large proportion of his time in the WAFL rucking with some stints up forward.

Saw him on tv and he was ok against the kids and when kicking goals there were no backs putting pressure on him . His ruck work was not the greatest .

I think it is fantastic that Michael Gardiner is now a Saint. Him and Kosi can rotate between ruck and full forward and with the added help of either Ackland, Brooks or Rix should be able to do a pretty good job in the ruck. Well done Saints!

Saints have done very well here. Their Achilles Heel in recent years has been in ruck so in Gardiner, Kosi and Ackland, the Saints have a very competetive and capable rucking unit which may just take them that extra syep in to a GF.
