GBU vs Gws

GWS lost 4 in a row. Injury depleted. Beat the Crows at AO.

Good: VERY little.
Fogarty can play.
Seedsman will get even better. So will Greenwood.
Pyke actually showed some emotion, last quarter, after we goaled first.

Bad: where do I start?
Insipid effort.
Supporters' nightmare.

Ugly: the Umps reamed GWS, nearly out of the game.

To half time against quality opposition:

Mackay - 5 possessions

Lynch - 4 possessions

Jenkins - 4 possessions

Yet all 3 will be automatic selections next week. Therein lies one of many problems with the Afc over the last 20 years.

Jenkins, Atkins, Lynch have been found out with our injuries to key players. without the quality around them feeding them they are ineffective to the point of being useless. It won't be, but it should be s massive wake up call to the coaching staff.

I think it's clear we overachieved massively last year. ahh well, we will have another crack at it in 10 years or so.

Thanks Roo. Our saviour turned out to be our destroyer. Ex-player hubris can be a cancer.

On a brighter note, get ready to party - Mackay turns 200 soon.

Once again we lacked leadership out there. All of our players just expected somone else would make the tackle or go get the ball.

midfield was piss weak again... just let GWS waltz through and when we had it butchered the ball inside 50.
