What a garbage comment, the only good things I've seen in the first 3 weeks, is 2 wins.If you have a small fwd line, you move the ball fast kick to space, along the ground, you don't let the opposition set up behind the play. There were so many instances where we could have gone fast off half back or in the centre, yet we choose to go back and play stop start boring football. We have controlled the majority of the last 2 games, yet nearly lost both and should have.

The players are stuck in last year's style of play, in the first quarter Selwoods mark was called play on because it didn't travel fast enough, so he had to play on and you know what happened, the continuity gave Hawkins space to lead and you know what it turned out to be a goal.

How was Higgins a better player to bring into the team over losing Fogarty.

Great game by Guthrie and Atkins and loved Henry and Clarks run and dare to kick that goal
If You can’t understand the basic explanation that were a month behind on an already shortened Pre season, I can’t help you. When you factor in the idea that ideally they want to play Blicavs as a key defender but cant do it exclusively because ratagolea is injured, and Cameron is also out, it is throwing the game plan they want to and will play - into chaos. Watch the Eagles. They play a 3 tall forward line. Allen, darling and JK, with vardy also in the side until
Last week. When we have Cameron, Hawkins and Sav playing, you’ll
See us go quick to leading targets. Unfortunately at the moment, a limited preparation plus missing key players,
Means we have to grind wins out like we have the last 2 weeks.

In the pre-game they say 14.17 or something in his last certain number of games. He has slipped a bit. But it’s not helped by the hard shots he seems to be getting marks recently.

Liked for the use of the word oaf.

I think the fact he gets hard shots is because he leads to the flanks rather than straight up the middle, too many of his shots end up boundary side or in the pocket.

Not sure if mentioned yet but with a few minutes left Atkins decides to leave his opponent and cause a stoppage
2 hawks were running onto that ball, that effort alone could’ve been the reason we won.
Clarks goal, Jack Henry take a bow son
Totally agree. May have saved the game for us.

This will come with size. He doesn't LOOK like and AFL footballer at the moment but he looks to have some class about him. Promising for sure, should be best 22 after another preseason.

Agree...he got knocked off the ball too easily but thats just lack of size..his vision in traffic really impressed me..once he puts the size on i think he will be a player. Isnt best 22 yet but long term i think we have really found a player here.

Sounds like there's a line through Sav for a while yet. His leg injury is not healing as expected apparently.

Die anyonr listen to KRock pre-game to find out whether there's an update on Cameron and Menegola's availability next week? Are they both definites?

Dont know about Menegola but ive heard Cameron isnt guaranteed to return and they may play it safe and have him back for the training drill against North the week after at home.

2 moments worth more than 500 uncontested marks

Off legs for a while he will lose conditioning. We wont see him til after round 10 i dont think which is a problem for us re the 2nd ruck spot.

Maybe he should lead straight up the ground.
The amount of times we bomb it there...whether there is a player there or not is mind blowing.

We will grow into the season.
Desperately need Cameron though, hard to go fast when no one leads and we only have one tall target.

Danger and Rohan should be very remorseful. Nearly 0-3 and they’ve let the team down.

No doubt we will be better with JC , but seriously, we should of played Jenkins or Fort or Kreuger, just pure simple for structure to help out Hawkins... poor bugger got hammed but did awesome been double up..
