Needs to be a calming of the farm.

Last year Richmond lost to Saints by 67 points in R16

Lost to us by 76 points too.

Oh and we lost to North by 59.

That's the 2 GF sides.
If we had the likelihood of getting close to a full strength side soon before any more damage is done then I don’t think the mood around here would be as bad.

But we are going weeks without Tex, Sloane, Gov, Smith, Brad and who knows about Seeds.

If we fall to far back we can kiss top 4 goodbye and we can forget about top 2.

I contribute a point of difference to the blind, idiotic love in for an average inside mid and his broken down nag for a brother.
Average. So average that he's AA, B&F and is coming off an injury. He's very average indeed.

Brown went off with a concussion in the first quarter, and the broadcast failed to mention that until midway through the last quarter.
Good to know. Damn vicco commentary. Regardless, point still stands RE: Something needing to change at half time and our selection of players didn't allow for that.

Basically we have plan 1a and that is it. We have no plan B. Nothing to do with tempo or control (although that wouldn't hurt) but a different defensive style we can switch to when we are being hammered as seems to happen regularly to us under pyke.

125% down to 109% --- so, waddaya reckon? o_O

To have a chance at the Flag, we'd need to finish Top 4 and 109% or thereabouts won't cut it.
Then we'd have to make the GF. At this point in time, I can't see it.
We're the Adelaide Crows, not Lazarus.
You'e not familiar with sarcasm.

Yes, that's entirely the point. He's not and never will be the star, match winning midfielder, because his lack of everything else means his job is to get the ball out and give it to them, and him winning plaudits and awards is a strong indication of the problem. Our midfield is still shit, and waxing rhapsodic about the workman inside mid after a loss is Crows_fans.txt

Crouch has been adding to his game every year, his hamstring has stuffed him up for the time being. It doesn't help when Jacobs is getting destroyed every week. He's just turned 23 and probably has the best work ethic at the club. He needs to work on his defensive game but iis last thing we should worry about.

As much as people don't want to admit NT Wabbit is right, he is. Waiting a year to go for Gibbs was a dead set disaster. I mean, I wouldn't have minded if the club offered the two firsts or our first and Atkins ( whom they seemed to rate) but we just lowballed them and wouldn't move.

Not sure we would have won but it would have been nice to find out

I really don't understand why most of you can't see that Crouch winning the B&F in a year where our midfield was crushed like an overripe grape by Richmond just underlines the problem in red ink.

And yet I was right, we didn't win the flag because our midfield was belted, and you've just seen how much of a shower of shit our 'depth' really is.

Wake up and smell the ashes.
And M. Crouch + B. Crouch>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> R.Sloane in the 2 Finals Sloane played.

He's not right. As we have seen thus far this season, he doesn't do the heavy lifting.

Well lets see.
My calls for the club to find a ruck to replace Sauce, correct.
My calls that Lyons was sold too cheap, correct.
My call that we are a year or so away from a rebuild, correct.
People saying Polk was going to be better than Lyons, wrong.
People saying Lever was rubbish and we wouldnt miss him, wrong.

This is the only thing he is right about and it’s hardly a revolutionary view. Nearly all supporters think this

Eating our own heads over that performance will do no-one any good. Go outside and shout at the moon if you need to but come back in and get ready for next week. We cant draft any new players or fix our broken ones or go back in time.
Having said that, I hope some of the decision makers and money lenders take note of a couple of particular performances today and then provide a few blokes with solid feedback that will leave them in no doubt about the rest of the year and their careers into the future.

Sorry mate, Id be a better option than Otten and I cant play.
He is not our future!
What is it with playing slow coaches in the twilight of their career anyway?
Its Rutten-esque.
Same can be said for Hartigan. Absolutely woeful match and 27 yrs old. Falters under pressure. He is not our future either.

Why did we re sign otten at the end of last yr if not to play him?

He won a BnF in a year when we won the minor premiership and made a GF.

Look, you do add constructive comments on this and other boards, but you are more wrong than Donald Trump in budgie smugglers

This is fun.

My call about Hartigan being a spud under pressure - correct.

My call about jenkins being good - correct

My call about ottens adding versatility and we need that - correct.

That doesn't mean Crouch is not a good player and in a different way to the so called stars.
I don't see anyone rate Crouch in the company of the stars in the competition. But they do as a damn good player.
You're trying to paint it that everyone is saying he's one of the competitions greatest players.

Every club would gladly have him, not every player can be Fyfe/Martin etc.

The problem is that we need more star talent, not that Crouch is shit.. which is all you've said for years now.
