Hately did really well, Berry did well with the amount of tackles
They want more respect for umpires.. but they just put in more arbitrary rules making it even harder to umpire... afl can gagf

Good - Fight back in the second qtr. Had a couple of fast, attacking chains that resulted in a goal and showed us the real potential.
Bad - Essentially gave up after half time when they went a few goals up.
Ugly - Set shots, slippage and running back with the flight of the ball but catching it with our faces.

More positives tonight for us than the past two weeks, but still a way to go

Good: Dawson, Doedee, Hately, McAdam, Rowe, Hamill, Jones, Berry, Soligo
Bad: BROWN, Sholl, Himmelberg, Rachele, McHenry
Ugly: Goal Kicking, Umpiring Decisions
Worrying: I'll give Fog a pass as it's his first game back and he was clearly playing under instructions to negate Andrews. But need to see a lot more next game.

Not sure how long it’s been since I’ve seen a game so ruined by umpiring. It just ended the contest.

Berry continues to get better. Ned had some good touches. Fog competed better than our bigs have for several weeks. Dawson is class. Hamill did some good stuff. Strachan had a good half and a bad one.
Kicking inside 50 is bad. Himmelberg was terrible. Brown had a bad one. Sholl needs a spell. Disposal let's us down so often.

Thought we played alright, umpiring was embarrassing. Commentators bemused all night but oh well.
Hatelys best game and Berry looks a solid piece for the future. Crouch doesnt have a spot in this team anymore if these two can keep playing well.
Strachan was eh, beaten by Big O. Give him another go.

Good: Dawson, Hately, Doedee, Rowe [edit] and McAdam. That might be it, some others were ok, but not good.

Blaming umpiring is weak, we take the piss out of other boards when they complain about umpiring but then turn around and do the exact same thing. We just have to be better, we have to not kick 1.4, we have to not drop easy marks, we have to hit easy targets. Just be better.

Hats off to Hately, funny what happens when you give young players midfield minutes.
Dawson unreal, wish we had two of him.
Jones had some big moments and kept McCarthy quiet, would’ve like to see Nicks back him in for the Charlie job.
Soligo has something.
McAdams and McHenry’s first half.
Rowe showing his weapons, rather than fussing about what he cant do.
Bad-
Rachele body language and playing for frees.
Tex’s kicking for goal.
Goal kicking in general.
Awful-
Fogarty. Understand Gollant was out of form but at least he has a presence up the ground and inside 50.
Himmelberg has to be out for Thilthorpe as soon as possible.
Luke Brown, didn’t stand near Charlie all game.
Brisbane are premiership fancies and we had a young, young side. Plenty of good signs in the first half but the usual fade away in the second half.

The slipping and marks slapping off the hands was frustrating. Great effort and intensity. Guys like Rowe and McHenry are great in this regard. I really liked Sholl’s game. Hately and Berry were the standouts for me. Enjoyable game apart from some shithouse umpiring.

I'm a Luke brown fan but he just isn't quick enough anymore... take him out and put laird back there thanks.
Fog was not able to have any mark on the game, stopped andrews though. Can't drop him, give him a few weeks to show what he can do and then adios.

Thought Murray did as well as he could've tonight as the lead tall defender. Love his toughness
