good:
uh nothing. there was nothing good about that game. we got ****ing battered.

ugly:
skills under no pressure.
hinge's forward 50 entries not actually getting into the 50
compulsive kicking along the boundary with no game awareness
first 2 quarters.
3rd quarter and not being able to convert.
going in with one key defender who i maintain is undersized vs a team with a guy they literally call 2m peter
too many picking and choosing when to complete
not being able to keep the ball inside 50 when we did get it down there.
not even trying to do anything about parish, mcgrath and merrett getting 110 disposals between them. about 33% of what our entire team managed

My two-month-old asked me today “why is Rory Sloane still considered a best 22 player if he’s as slow as a glacier and has average skills?”. I replied, “I don’t know”. We then sat and cried together
YoU tRy TeLlInG HiM He'S nOt PlAyInG :drunk:

Our mates down the road can drop their captain but we don't have the balls to do the same.

As I said he's not AFL standard but when so many in the team were soft at the contest at least was willing to put his body on the line.

BTW couldn't find your good/bad/ugly?

Yeah I guess those qualities should be considered good in a player if they made any ounce of difference to a game. By that Metric, Sloaney would be top 3 BnF.

I just put a good this week cos Im trying to not be so negative.
Think Jones did alright.

Our midfield woes are Hamish's fault.

Apart from Dawson, not one decent mid between 30 and 21 years of age.

Riley 'Brad Moran' Thilthorpe starting to look like another one for the list as well.

Astronaut wingman in a ruckman's body.

Ugly: I officially don't care for the rest of the year. Today was it.
We don't deserve finals and would probably be better off finishing 12th.
This is true. Long term we need more top 10 picks. And use them on mids

Incredibly disappointing performance.

Essendon becoming a bogey side once again for us. Havent beaten them since 2017.

Very disappointed in Sloane's performance. Midfield was soundly beaten in the first half.

I swear there is an agenda against Tex. At least 5 free kicks weren't paid against him for holds or over the shoulder. The one on the wing where his arm was blatantly held was criminal.

Some statements need to be made at selection. Sloane and Sholl to be dropped, need a tall to come in to help the defense.

Opportunity thrown away today.

I was there and he was in the middle a fair bit. Got some clearances too. Stats are wrong
Seems as if they’ll get changed. Will edit my post when they do, I haven’t watched, I thought I heard pedlar was in there a couple of times.
Weird, you’d think it’s the easiest stat to record live.

M.Crouch hasn't been himself after his soft tissue injuries in 2018 and same can be said about B.Crouch who didn't reached his potential. Laird is a solid B+ grader and I thought he would benefit from opposition putting more attention on Dawson but instead has been very disappointing this season.

Name and shame fellas
Sloane
Sholl
Murphy
Mchenry
Soligo
Tt
Fogarty
Milera
Rachele
Rankine
Smith
Were all appalling
Tt soligo rachele rankine fogarty are our future so keep in
The rest We need to find a replacement
Rankine?! wat?
The only problem with Rankine was Nick not putting him in the middle, even though he was clearly going harder than than the rest of the side.

People talking about "selection integrity" earlier in the week, I'm pretty sure damn near every player would be thinking that it's pretty suss with a guy like Sloane that he keeps getting picked.

And I hate to dump on him because he's been one of my favourites, but this team and the midfield just cannot move forward and develop if Nicks still thinks Sloane is a huge part of it going forward.
