I for one would love for commentators to learn our players' names. Murph goes for the hanger? Calls him Fogarty.

Doedee in a one on one contest at full back? Calls him Sholl.

Kelli Underwood banging on before the game, 'Can Fog and Walker play in the same forward line?'

Seemed oblivious Fog was going to be played forward/mid, surprised when he starts in the centre square.

Everyone on this board were curious to see how Fog went as a mid today, she had no idea. Isn't she an Adelaide supporter?

Bad .. Frampton.... how many times did he have 2 hands on the footy and drops it? In perfect conditions. He has to be dropped.

Not sure... fogarty in the middle. Did he even get a single touch in the middle? I like the idea but he is too big and slow to be there. Needs to lose some weight.

Spent his time in the middle standing behind Cunnington. Has the same issue as Jones, standing behind their opponent and then wonder why they don’t get a touch.

Fog had a really good game when he was in the middle last week (at SANFL level, but South look like they're primed for a big finals run). If the last two weeks are any indication, we're at the stage where it seems like we're at the stage that when Fogarty is on as a forward, he doesn't do anything in the middle. When he's on in the middle, he's useless as a forward.

In terms of build though, he's fine. Didn't get to show it off, but does have a nice bit of burst acceleration on him (though a low top speed). He's also pretty capable in the contest and cleanly skilled out of it. Give the idea time, it'll grow on you.

Havent seen the game but its prolly worth mentioning that the coach of this team prolly has more intel on us than any other in the afl, so prolly not surprising we looked worse than we should against these guys. Bris has belted us when he was there right?

If she is she can't follow us too closely.
Maybe she struggles to blend her passion and professionalism for the game.

That's odd as she directly mentioned the fact that he played in the middle in the SANFL last week at the start of the game. She didn't sound surprised to me

Good
Doedee Sholl Schoenberg Laird

Ugly
McAdam's long sleeve guernsey. It should be burnt to never be seen again.

Bad
Bailey Smith. Come on man. He's a mummy's boy. Show some respect Montagna.

Probably not a big fan. Called Murphy Fogarty, more than once even on a replay and did not correct herself.

I wonder how many people noticed most center bounces fogarty attended he was right next to Cunnington and negated a lot of his influence.
I feel like today was a training day for him.

I think that’s what Nicks was referring to in his presser. Said that Fog had a specific role to play in the middle and his contribution wasn’t measured in kicks, marks or handballs

McPherson is very similar to Brown in that you just forget they are out there. Which can be a good thing as a defender.

Hopefully as he gains confidence he becomes more attacking. But I can settle for dour in the meantime.

Nope, she didn't say that at all. I'm talking about Kelli Underwood, she was commentating for Fox Footy, who are you thinking of?

I don't know if you needed any intel to belt the living daylights out of us last year.

Schoenberg and Sholl the biggest things out of that game. Berg's starting to hit his strides and he had really tidied up his kicking. Smart footballer too.

Laird and Keays again fantastic.

Doedee bog. This guy is a legitimate star now and will be in AA contention. Rarely makes the wrong decision.

Kelly had a stinker and Lynch was so so, but senior players again stood tall (walker, Smith, Seed, Laird).

Frampton wasn't as bad on the replay as when I watched it live. Still had an average game though and should be moved out now.

23 disposals today, so not bad.

Messed a few kicks up though, which wasn't like him (though he wasn't alone there).
