Isn't it amazing that we got shit for announcing before trade week the players who wouldn't be getting another contract. People who refer to themselves by grandiose titles like The List Manager (and the Barrett version - Licker of The List Manager's Arse) criticised us for playing our hand too early and not getting something for our delistees in trade week.

The majority of delistings now finalised stayed on lists during trade week and have been cut now as no other team was interested. In the vast majority of cases, surely that was obvious weeks ago. At least we were honest in our assessment, unlike most others. And yet we're the ones most criticised.

Alex Morgan not delisted?

3 traded out, 3 traded in, 8 others delisted ( inc. 2 x rookies)

Suns have picks 19, 41, 50, 54, 76, 94 and 112 + 2 x rookies

Hmmmm

Will be an unusual situation seeing a trade occur during the free agency period as McSuns eventually force us to delist Andrew and pay his full 2018 wage in exchange for them giving him a list spot.

Well played Fatman. Well played.

We just keep him if that's the case.

Depends on what the football department's magic 8 ball determines when it comes up.

We are currently staring down the prospect of taking a kid at pick 130 or listing some random delisted free agent neither of whom will be as good as a 25yo goalkicking rebounder we just axed inexplicably.

Anything is possible.

Alex has informed Essendon he'll be seeking other opportunities, rejecting our 1 year deal.

You guys will get him in the PSD, as we offered him a contract, at least that's my understanding of the way it's run. Honestly I don't know why you offered 2 years, hell, I don't know why we offered 1. His VFL form outside of this year's EF has been pretty terrible.

But the positives you might be able to get from him are that he's quick and has good kicking skills.

Can he get the ball?

Can he get the ball?
He's averaged 12 disposals in the VFL for the past 2 years.
On a side note, am I the only one with bunched panties for teams picking up Mullett as a DFA instead of trading?
If it ends on us it would be simply that we didn't have the pick currency to get it done.

Oh yeah. I forgot we didn't want to do a Marley kind of trade. Bowen says it'll be Carlton.
If Bowen says it's Carlton it's probably them. He gets a lot of stuff with them right.
