What an emotional story, he's really loved over there and you can't blame him for going back home.

I want him back in Sydney though, watching that just reminds me how much I miss seeing him play for us.

Did he run out of money already? no thanks his body especially his shoulders are not up to the rigors of AFL football.

He (Kyle Coney, not Kennelly) went home with an attack of the sads, injured his shoulders (doing what I don't know?) then, hey presto! he wants to comeback and get his shoulders fixed! I'll be amazed if he ever makes it onto the ground.

Re: Kenelly may be coming back to the swans

I reckon Tadhg would be great in the side right now!

Because running defenders is really what we need more of.

Re: Kenelly may be coming back to the swans

We have runners just not running defenders.

Ireland are a little different and play a lot of their competitions differently. The all Ireland champions are played by counties in their regions (4 championships) in mostly knock out comps and winners go through to play in the all Ireland quarter finals while the losers get another chance in a more complex system to regain the other 4 spots.

Believe it or not New York compete in this comp but in the Connacht championship but the hardly win a thing.

Munster would b e the strongest as Kerry are very strong and Cork are improving too.

I love Kennelly but my family connection is Cork so I hope he's on the losing side

Don't claim to be an expert and follow from afar but recent form of Kerry and a strengthening Cork are showing plenty of strength admittedly Tyrone Champions last year from Ulster.

Wasn't speaking historically just on current strength of Kerry and good showings from Cork as both counties have been in the semi's of the All Ireland comp since 2005.

To be fair after these two the depth falls fast..

No Ulster's a stronger more competitive championship. Munster have Cork and Kerry, but that's all we have. The match of the Munster championship is always the Cork Kerry game, it's gotten to a point where people are actually sick of going to them. Before there a few years ago it used nearly always been a Kerry win, but over the past few seasons Cork have improved. But at the end of the day that's all it is, Cork v Kerry. Whoever gets the other out of the way usually always goes on and wins it.
Ulster's more unpredictable. Tyrone usually is the strongest of the lot, and Armagh but the other few have atleast surprised us and it's not always a Tyrone v Armagh final, sometimes neither are in the final.

Ulster is much more competitive.

Now the Munster hurling championship is another story completely, most competitive in the country.

Well it won't be Armagh v Tyrone this year because the Red Hands beat the Orchard county last week in the 2nd round of the Ulster championship by a goal.

Tyrone are favourites to win, as ever.

Anyway, good luck to Tadgh for tomorrow:

He's replacing Darragh Ó Sé in the midfield - big boots to fill!

Cork are the bookies favourites.

you mean unshaw? hahaha shit i suck.

Re: Kenelly may be coming back to the swans

Played the full game today for Kerry, they drew (ffs) with Cork. Cork should have won, we threw the game away and handed it to Kerry, who weren't great. Kerry came back into the game there with about 4 minutes left. Cork should have pushed on and won it, (if not for a stupid ref giving soft frees) things were going Cork's way untill and thanks to an inspirational point from Kennelly. He'd a good game in fairness, (Michael Shields was outstanding for Cork as well) all in all it didn't really look like he'd been missing all those years. Was one of the only Kerry players who bothered to run up midfield, he was moved up from the back right up to the half forwards, all in all he did very well for Kerry.
