Let's talk Ports! Part 3

Another game where we really took it up to the eventual premiers with a young two pronged attack of Tredrea and Lockwood. Check out how the players played like they really gave a s*** at every contest.

Amazing how umpiring has made the game a turd, a million little things would be frees now, game was far more enjoyable to watch then wasn’t it.

Yeah looking back it seemed like we were on a journey, there was no worrying about the coach.

We are stuck in a loop until Kenny is gone. I will enjoy Ports more when that happens, it will feel like a reset.

And people somehow conflate their seasons

Did Studley move over to Melbourne, or do the FIFO thing like Russell? I expect he would have had rellies over there, being a Victorian. Wiki says he returned to SA after being dropped again, having played only 5 games - maybe Mr Ellers needed him back at the car yard during the week. Plus Chad was on the way by then.

Yep, my apologies, meant to say Berri. I've been helping dad out at the biscuit factory this week and we've been having some issues on the Monte Carlo line. It's all sorted now though, don't worry. Just been a little bit sleep deprived. Although after the trip to The Big Orange, maybe they could take the players to unwind and relax at the Monash playground? Hopefully Kenny gets lost in the maze and can't make it back to the coaches box next season!

The Big Orange's address is Monash and it has been closed for around 20 years. Probably quite suitable for educating the squad about another failed endeavour.

Pull over on the side of the road, hang on the fence and gaze up at the big orange and wonder what might have been.

If the address says so, then ok, but it's closer to berri than monash

Yeah, I thought of it as being in Berri for years.

Everyone seems to know the score, they've seen it all before
They just know, they're so sure
That Port is gonna throw it away, gonna blow it away
And I have nothing to say, 'cause I remember

Three goals scored by Port
2004 still gleaming
I can't recognise the sport
But it never stopped me dreaming

So many jokes, so many sneers
But all those "Oh, so nears" wear you down through the years
But I still see that missed goal by Moore and when we couldn't score
Hartlett's deliberate call, and Shuey ducking

Three goals scored by Port
2004 still gleaming
I can't recognise the sport
But it never stopped me dreaming

It's coming home, it's coming
Football's coming home
It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming
Football's coming home
(England have done it)
It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming
Football's coming home
It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming
Football's coming home
