If at the end of trade period we have only traded out O'shea, the melts on this board will be of volcanic proportions!

I don't reckon so. A few would be offended about Lobbe but that's about it.

Nobody is giving us anything for Neade. The good news here is that the players are clearly on notice. Even if there ends up being only a few trades get over the line there will be some nervous people in the lead up to trade week. If they survive the cull they won't want to be back there at end of next season.

Ken knows his balls are on the line here too. Not surprised that he's desperate to make wholesale changes.

Um thats just the standard list clubs make at beginning of trade week. if anything thats an ordinary number

Yep. So far the talk has been good talk (as opposed to none or crap the last 2 trading periods), but right now it's still just talk.

I haven't watched it yet, does the 13 call have a date when it was done attached? I.e. was it padded by Butcher, Hoon shopped, then just delisted when there was none?
It was 'a few days' after the Gold coast game, so bit unclear
It's a far cry different from Ken's previous ideas about only trading players if they want to be.
He has been badly burned by saying his players were not up for trade in previous seasons. I guess he and the club believed that a stable list would achieve their goals.

The coaching group has been told they need to be more ruthless, and to stop going conservative every time there is small problem.
Easier said than done but the noises seem ok so far.

For the first time in 2 years the club has signalled the intent that the playing group performance is unacceptable. Even if we only trade a couple surely it means that next season players not performing at the required level will spend some time in the SANFL. Like what's been said already, at the moment it's only words but at least we've taken that first step of acceptance.

13 is an exciting number! My guess in no particular order:

1. Lobbe
2. Ah Chee
3. O'Shea
4. Hartlett
5. Amon
6. Toumpas
7. Krakouer
8. Stewart
9. S.Gray
10. Neade
11. Westhoff
12. Clurey
13. Broadbent

Yeah I think most people will easily name 8 or 9 the others not so obvious.

No one would trade for Toumpas or Krakouer.

Over a quarter of the list would not be an ordinary number. Agree it's not huge, but its decent.
As players you'd consider offers for? Its ordinary.
