So does this reek of being a little bitter about that? He’s never remotely hinted at anything like this when he’s getting paid by the club. I just don’t get what he’s hinting at, they still have premiership reunions most years, so what else can the club do to include him?I think it has
To be fair, does the club do their best to make you feel welcome ?So does this reek of being a little bitter about that? He’s never remotely hinted at anything like this when he’s getting paid by the club. I just don’t get what he’s hinting at, they still have premiership reunions most years, so what else can the club do to include him?
It is remarkable how in the 2 month period of no AFL, we manage to constantly hit the headlines for negative reasons.
I can't think of another club that comes close.
It's got to be a bit draining for current day players to have this stuff going on around you all the time.
Having said that, I wish McLeod could be more specific about what makes him uncomfortable. Not a good look for us whether he's right or wrong either way
Because he is no longer on the clubs payrollWhy come out and say it now?
I think he's still running the indigenous programs isn't he ??
I think that's the thing to take out of it.McLeod is hardly an outspoken, controversial type. Barely makes any public comment.
If Andrew Jarman said it that's one thing
Um hello... how many past players work at the club?Has there ever been a period where our past players felt welcomed?
Has the situation decayed or has it never been there?
Is Edwards getting more love atm?
There's a gravy train for some no doubtUm hello... how many past players work at the club?
He's obviously not talking about the Covid situationI would think many people feel disconnected from the club at the moment.
...not happy about chappy and his extension? Why come out and say it now?
I’m sure this will be another easy one for posters to bag to the club, but as I posted late last year they’re very good with including families of current players and get very positive feedback.
This seems linked to losing his jobs at the club recently due to budget cuts as he has never mentioned this in public before now.
It was sarcasm mateI’m on a retired officers committee of ex-Nab employees and we have a monthly function and the Nab pays an annual subsidy for each member registered (not a great amount but it is sufficient to cover the cost of the functions for those that attend).
It’s such a general statement that it just reeks of making headlines for his podcast, can anyone say they had heard of this podcast before today?
What do most past players, outside of coaching or admin, exactly do at any club these days? As someone said earlier, this isn’t the 80s.
I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, I actually agree with you.
Roo and Jamo knew the concerns of the players, they ignored them.
Yep absolutely they did, probably still think that.Because they believed Burton was doing a great job.
Yeah right, because the club has earned the benefit of the doubt. I'm going with Macca on this one and not Roo/Chappy who thought Burton was an elite operator.
Is he? I think his jobs were cut during the pandemic
