No... but we don’t have daylight savings yet..

Because there’s a worry that the extra hour of daylight will make the curtains fade quicker and the dairy cows won’t know when to come in for milking... seriously..

So we are east of you guys... and half an hour behind you on the clock!..
Go read some of the Facebook pages about the topic, it's beyond scary. There's also the argument that you will get sunburnt worse if daylight savings comes in if you work outdoors. Considering that the last referendum was in 1992 or something like that, surely it would get through now, but no politician has any balls to put it on the agenda again.

Yeah, he kind of is.

Middle aged average quality SANFL players don't have a high value draft, and the AFL creating a band new super dooper style priority pick shouldnt con anyone into thinking that's changed.

He's not a valuable trade piece. Getting him is not a win.

Yep, the club wants him to soften the blow to members. Like Dean Gore it won't matter in 12 months if he delivers. We are even giving him jumper number 23 to make him seem like the next McLeod.

Do you know why we had the best forward line in the AFL last year?

Well, we had firepower everywhere. Tex, Eddie, Lynch, Charlie, Jenkins (even to some people chagrin) and leaving McGovern to be the 4th key forward.

Now, Charlie is gone to be replaced by McAdam with zero games experience.

And McGovern will be gone to be replaced by a kick who won’t play for 12 to 24 months. If thst is even a Key Position Forward.

So our industry leading forward line is decimated to a fraction of what it was. We will struggle to compete.

We won’t or have not replaced what we have lost and we should be contending for a flag. Right now!!

I love the facetiousness of some who want to have a go at those who are sick and tired of seeing our opportunities getting taken away as if it is no big deal. It is a big deal, as premiership are won by quality team and every bloody year we are losing quality players.

Not thst the “sky is falling” group care.

Don’t get me wrong - I am filthy Gov is leaving and straight after Charlie. For every improvement in a young player we lose a more experienced player and seem helpless to stop it. Two years ago we had 5-6 players in the AA under 22 team - 3 of those longer with the club

Gov played the same amount of games this year as he did last year, and youd say this year was catastrophic would you not ??

The kid is a talent, but if hes the crucial point to our forwardline then we are in strife.

Am I missing something with McAdam? He's a small forward with nice athletic attributes that had an okay, not great, season in the SANFL. Is he even worth pick 21? If we've been scouting him, I highly doubt it was with the mind of taking him that early in the draft.

does he play like a small forward ?

We gained Doedee.

Before the priority pick for Carlton and GCS came in the most likely pick we'd have had to use to get him what was our #37 before compo picks if we were keen I would guess.

Better overhead than most small forwards, think Charlie with slightly less speed but slightly more tricks.

Oh good. Charlie without the one attribute that made him AFL standard.

Yep, I have seen him play live half a dozen times and seen other highlights. He should be on an AFL list but I think people are getting carried away.
Hes a slightly better than steak knives pick up IF he comes with pick 13.

A pick in the 20s and I'll be as annoyed as everyone else.
