I don't. I'd prefer not to play Carlton in an elimination final which would be at the G with majority their fans.

Would be much better playing St Kilda.

That part I agree with.

My point is more I think St Kilda represent the most likely side currently between 5-8 on the ladder to lose other games over the final three weeks of the season, making them the team we're most likely to overtake, especially since the fact that we have a game against them in a couple of weeks time means that one of their results is within our control.

Carlton winning isn't the worst result for us, unless being in the 8 after Round 21 is important to you.
Win next week and wins over St Kilda and Bulldogs will see us jump those teams.

Carlton and GWS play each other so we can also jump the loser of that one. Carlton also play Melbourne and if they lose that we can jump them, regardless of GWS result.

5th or 6th still in our hands and ports loses mean the top 4 can fall in a way we play all finals at the G

Carlton are very impressive- multiple top 22 players missing- now 7 in a row. They could go very deep. Hate it, but they are great to watch.
I hope Richmond beat St Kilda next week.
I’d rather we do the week after

Collingwood colly-wollibling, Port 4 loses in a row, Melbourne forward line complaints, Brisbane (lol)... We are at least a chance so we can't give up - have to at least make someone take us out.
Correct in terms of those top 3 teams stumbling, but cats a chance??? Really? Cats are 5-1-6 from past 12 and 1-1-4 away from GMHBA. I find the race for the bottom 4 of the 8 a race amongst the average. Teams from 5-13/14 are not in the race for the 8 because they’re good it’s because they’re all average. I mean none of them have locked in a finals berth yet and strangely hugely bog average ainters are still 7th. It’s mind boggling!

Lots of truth there, but even the top 4 are coming back to the pack. In form Blues and Demons, but they were not great all season, so this equalisation process is real.

I agree with equalisation; although not through fixturing. However , I think equalisation gives us a mass of average teams ; which is concerning.
