As much as I'd like them to be true, I'm not so sure......

They're coming on better and quicker than I thought. They're doing better with their list it seems too.
agreed, unfortunately

They are ones to wach for sure and are definitely developing well, but It will depend on how soon they start contending again and whether Breust, Sicily, Wingard and Impey are still playing. They've won a few games this year solely from Breust and Sicily dominating. They'll drop again with Breust's retirement nearing.

They're developing a young core of players that might pinch one with the older brigade if they develop quickly enough. Similar to the 08 side, before dipping down slightly. The rest will depend on how much they come on and quality additions via FA.

They have a good core coming through and, as always, they play with a spirit and determination that has served their club so well over the years.

It's something I've begrudgingly admired for a long time.

No doubts there. Despite being our rivals, I have the utmost respect for their club.

Dangerfield apparently approached to be on the AFL Commission after the bargaining period is done (according to Nine).

Incredible if true.

The Richmond board would be loving this news.

Just had a squizz over on their board. They're taking it well...not.

Ahahaha you're not wrong:

Just when you thought the AFL couldn’t sink any lower…

Gil and Richard Goyder wants Dangerfield to sit on the AFL comission while still playing for Geelong.

Boy’s Club.

Caro reported it.

CFL.

Oops already posted above.

What a corrupt comp we have.

Dirty Geelong mafia.

Reported it? She’s cheering it in ffs!

This is a farce.

Nothing short of Royal Commission into how historically the AFL has so brazenly favored Geelong to the detriment of other clubs and individuals.
What next , Putin in charge of the United Nations ??!!
GO CATTERS , GAGF .

Will rig the brownlow so he wins it

Enjoying the melts but from a governance perspective I can’t see how they can have a current player on the governing body that employs him. Someone sensible at AFL House knocks it on the head, surely.

What is the problem with that? Whats he going to say... the GF should be played in Geelong?

Anything that gets Rich angry has to have something going for it.

It's bad enough when you have current players commentating.

I'd bookmark this as a certainty. The players will be lining up. Can always use more money and attention.

Arguing with an Eagles person. Apparently one grand final performance in 2018 means Shuey is better than Joel Selwood? I don’t think it’s close.

I’d prefer half of one Joel Selwood to two Luke Shueys.
I wouldn't even dignify this.

There are very few players that come anywhere close in the modern era.

Last season, he threw down the challace and cemented himself. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see a player of his enormity in the next 30 years.

They banned me on the Shuey retires thread on the main board for trolling apparently. All I said was Shuey admitted to cheating a final against Port Adelaide and will never be anything more than a WC champion. Then this guy went on a 500 word rant on how Shuey is better than Selwood 🤣

Shuey will be forgotten to history long before Selwood.

It’s strange because the WCE board has been pot shotting Shuey for years to retire

All the sudden he’s a saint and a legend of the game

Spare me
