Yea, all that and for a pick 45, not sure if we can over rate him..love his energy

agreed.. brings alot of intensity.

Everybody lauded Krakour's efforts in 2011 and don't get me wrong, 35 goals and 78 tackles is a great year for a small forward.

Fasolo kicked 28 and had 64 tackles in his 2nd year, not that far behind.

We should be all excited to get him back.

To come in the side:
Toovey (Knee)
Young (Will probably be injured like he always is)
Scharenberg (Bucks will make him prove himself before he plays, but if we land him with pick 6 he will be a revelation for us and possibly the missing link)

Still don't know if we can rely on Grundy to ruck all year, and i'm a bit iffy about Seedsman's defensive capabilities, but both best 22's look very solid.

Undoubtedly the senior and VFL team will be different but when you put the names out on the blank canvas it is pretty bloody handsome there.

Williams, Brown, Maxwell (Toovey to replace)
Seedsman, Keeffe, Sidebottom
O'Brien, Beams, Adams
White, Cloke, Swan
Fasolo, Reid, Elliott
Grundy, Ball, Pendlebury
Goldsack, Thomas, Macaffer
S: Kennedy/Blair

Dwyer the 23rd man

I don't understand your reply but here is my team.

B: Sinclair Brown Keefe
HB: Toovey Reid Williams
C: Young Beams O'Brien
HF: Fasolo White Sidebottom
F: Elliot Cloke Blair
FOLL: Grundy Pendlebury Swan
Int: Lynch Ball Thomas Dwyer

Williams - Brown - Oxley

Fasolo - Cloke - Broomhead
White
Elliott - Reid

Adams - Beams - Goldsack - Blair (s)

Emg - Maxwell, Kennedy, Dwyer, Thomas, Macaffer, Seedsman, Witts, Lynch, Pick 6, Pick 10

-Can Oxley put on some bulk to claim that 3rd tall back role, but a modern day skilled one?
-Can Keeffe hold down CHB or does Reid need to return with White onboard?
-Can Young stay fit?
-Is Broomhead our biggest sleeper?
-Is Maxwell Blair and Goldsack best 22?
-Can a dual FF of Reid-Elliott kick 75 goals?
-Trav to play a more roaming role for better forward sync?
-Kennedy and Thomas big improvers?

Not sure but i'm excited about our youth.
Fasolo, Elliot, Williams, Seedsman, Adams, Broomhead, Grundy, Kennedy, Thoams, Oxley, Ramsay, Pick 6, 10.
Also Pendlebury, Cloke, Reid, Beams, Sidebottom etc are only 23-26
Exciting future ahead.

-Can Oxley put on some bulk to claim that 3rd tall back role, but a modern day skilled one?
Not this year

-Can Keeffe hold down CHB or does Reid need to return with White onboard?
All signs point to yes, and a Reid-White-Cloke forward combo would be very dangerous.

-Can Young stay fit?
I hope so, but i'm not too sure that he will.

-Is Broomhead our biggest sleeper?
Possibly, a big preseason might see him push for a debut early in the season.

-Is Maxwell Blair and Goldsack best 22?
Maxwell no but he will still be played, Blair borderline and Goldsack only as a replacement for Maxwell.

-Can a dual FF of Reid-Elliott kick 75 goals?
You'd like to think so. Reid 40 and Elliott 35.

-Trav to play a more roaming role for better forward sync?
That's where he did best in 2011, but i don't think we'll learn. He'll still play deep forward.

-Kennedy and Thomas big improvers?
JT yes, not sold on Kennedy yet. But according to BT they are both the same person so what do I know?

There are so many unknowns to play out unlike last year.

The team will be strengthened by the improvement or inclusions from 2013: Fasolo (injured) Toovey (injured) Keefe, Ball, Macaffer(one year back from knee injuries), Beams (injured most of 2013) Lynch (Hine and Bucks say he was carrying a bad injury most of 2013) Young (injured) Thomas, Elliot, Williams, Seedsman, Sinclair, Dwyer, Martin, Witts with another pre season, Grundy, Kennedy, Broomhead, Oxley, Ramsey, Frost same.
Add Adams, White, pick 6 and 10 plu (Karnesis?)

We can only predict Pendlebury, Swan, Blair, Brown, Cloke, O'Brien, Hudson, Sidebottom, Reid, Maxwell, Goldsack, Clarke.

Just saying pre season is going to be massive for some youngsters vying for limited spots in the 22.

I can't even have a stab at where the most improvement will come from. This is an exciting new-look group of players from 2013.

Fwi...I don't think Clarke and Gault make it, Hudson is a backup/ruck coach...the first round 22 is anyone's guess. We should see some surprises.

Really don't think Young has earned his spot?

I disagree. Young demonstrated what he can contribute in the game he got injured late in, against St Kilda I think? With Thomas gone he would seem to fill a need. I don't pretend to know anything about Adams. I have seen GWS play once and I didn't know who he was. From what I have read he is an inside mid. Therefore he has some pretty stiff competition for a place in the team.

Harry is a gun he finished 5th in the BnF

Creates run and carries the pill something we lack

Not on this boards B&F. He gets caught in the backline; has poor ball disposal under pressure and worst of all he never never gets his own ball. If he loses his feet, he's dog food.......mind you that's the same for Maxwell and Brown too.

Off the top of my head without reading the thread this is what I see as the best Collingwood 22 in 2014

Williams Brown Toovey
Seedsman Keefe Young
Sidebottom Pendles O'Brien
Fasalo Cloke Reid
Elliot White Blair

Grundy Swan Beams

Ball Adams Thomas Goldsack
