ESPN's draft guru has 're-done' the 2016 draft top 20. He has SPP up 12 spots to #6, but has booted Todd Marshall (was 16) altogether.

Cant argue with leaving him out to much. Needs to go from 'bits' of brilliance and string complete games together, getting in the best and winning us games. Hopefully that will come this year. Particularly with Dixon likely to miss at least the first few games.

I tweeted Brad Crouch did okay in trial game but would like to see more from him in JLT.

I've been getting abusive tweets for days now. Pretty ridiculous lol..the most easily offended supporters by a mile

A player who's supported by Bad Grouch Pty Ltd and it seems their propriety is very limited

Shane Mumford has made an illustrious return to AFL. Better not let him play any more trial games otherwise he might wind up missing the whole season.

Knightmare has been doing a previous draft each week it's been an interesting read, they've definitely been weighted towards proven performance with players still showing great potential but not having the opportunity to show it yet at AFL level (due to injury or not having the body yet ect) whats seen lots of KPPs and ruckman who were raw for starters drop

Which in and of itself displays the pointlessness of a 're-draft' only two years after the original draft. I wouldn't trade Todd Marshall for Sean Darcy in a million years.

Aren't these supposed to be based on what a draftee has actually done, to redo the draft order?? Tim Kelly is the best player so far from the 2016 draft by a country mile, not some young ruckman with lots of potential. The fact Kelly was 22 when drafted should be irrelevant.

More importantly, Kelly was actually taken in the 2017 draft. He shouldn't be on the list at all. Nice research from 'ESPN's draft expert'.

Bloody hell I didn't even see that he was drafted in 2017. That's dopey.

So because he put his name into the 2016 draft pool but wasn't drafted until 2017 he is still considered a 2016 draftee??? Is that why?

Yes:

"Doerre has analysed every player available during that particular year's draft, with often completely overlooked players who were subsequently selected in following seasons ending up being among the best of their initial draft class."

Yep, the entire draft and trading board continually confuse the terms

"re draft thread" and "output thus far ranking thread"
Definitely triggers me

The moral exceptionalists are currently out in force everywhere at the moment. Stay woke.

Geez, that's terrible news. He's the poster boy for this sort of thing really. He looks outwardly to be a rough as guts super tough dude - but you never know what is stewing inside and i'm glad he has began to face it rather than simply putting on a brave face.

Naturally social media is going to speculate because of the drugs heat being applied at the moment, but who cares if his mental issue may be drugs. The key is that he is seeking take care of himself.
