In The Back as a rule should be scrapped. A player falling into someone's back as they're both going to ground should be play on. In the back should only be paid if it's dangerous. In fact, the game would flow so much more if frees were only paid for dangerous or potentially dangerous indiscretions.

That would be a weird game. No HTB or Holding the Man, throws are allowed. Don't like that idea at all.

Remind me why we didn't have a red hot crack at Hewitt?
Gave up after rookieing Cam for 4 years in hope we could convince him to come home and sign upwith his brother.

Look like Carlton might struggle to hold on now. All the momentum with the Dogs and the last 4 scoring shots, had the Dogs not missed them all they’d be in front.

Carlton mids are demolishing the Dogs.

Problem with clearance dominant teams is that it's prone to stretches where it falls away a bit and if you can't score from turnover - you're not staying in the game.

I think we had a whiff of that in 2020 until we couldn't win a clearance to save ourselves in the last quarter of that prelim.

Carton 2022 remind me a bit of Port 2013.
Depressing seeing the fresh life in them compared to the hohum footy is just a game blank stares our players offer as they plod back and forth up and down the ground workery harderying
