No but a good coach would have gotten rid of all that dead weight already.
Bingo. A good coach would also have had the courage to drop underperforming players like DBJ, who hasn't been playing well for 2 years. But he's clearly one of Ken's favourites, so he gets a gold pass on a weekly basis.

And replaced them with what?
And before you say draft and trade in better players remember that’s Mr Parker’s department and his band of merry man.
If you want to blame anyone for this mess we are in the full blame squarely sits with the board.
They have created this shyt show and they need to be first to go.

If we had have traded them out when most of their values were highest we could have covered for most if not all of our holes by now.

But here we sit. In a pile of our own poo

Your 100% correct ,problem is we have nothing to replace them with because (drum roll) The cupboard is empty that’s why these guys get a game every week.
All I’m saying is no coach can take this list we have right now to a Grand Final.
I want Ken gone as much as anyone but it’s not the silver bullet to our problems.
Get rid of Kotch and then your on the right road.

Oh dear - last night on Nine news Pav's autocue was boldly declaring that Freo has a full list to select from, not one injury!

FREMANTLE captain Nat Fyfe will miss Saturday night's elimination final against the Western Bulldogs after suffering a hamstring strain at training this week.

Fyfe underwent scans late on Monday that confirmed damage to his right hamstring, ruling him out of the Dockers' first final since 2015 and their first September clash at Optus Stadium.

After an ugly dog act by the ex-Port Adelaide player, it is with great sympathy that the Sydney star will miss out on the final.
Lmao, channel 7 actually went with that

Sydney looks set to lose former Port Adelaide player Peter Ladhams for the AFL finals after the ruckman was offered a lengthy ban for a brutal hit in the VFL.

So a new coach is going to make
Jonas
McKenzie
McEntee
DBJ
Clurey and others into good players ?

If it ain't the coach, we may as well save the money and get rid.
McEntee really kills your argument. Hayes could have been played instead of him in every game he played and the results would have been better.
DBJ to be given a role more suited to his skill set, as he used to.
Similar for Clurey and McKenzie.
Jonas, he's the coach's messenger, he reflects exactly what the coach imbibes.

Hayes is the most overrated player on our list there’s better choices than him running around for the magpies.

Nope, McEntee is.

Are you seriously suggesting that McEntee’s output is greater than what Hayes would have been in those games?

If that’s the case, why is he here?

It’s reaching Butcher levels of futility.

Refused to pick him, but wouldn’t trade him when he still had currency either - Then finally cut him at the worst possible time with Schulz forced into premature retirement and only baby Marshall about to come aboard beneath Dixon’s dodgy ankles.

Hayes was drafted way back in 2017 — if he couldn’t get a run of games with Ladhams gone and Lycett out, what is the actual point of keeping him around for this long?

The cult being built around Max Gawn is getting increasingly irritating. He's the representation of how Melbourniams like to view themselves - Somewhat cultured, well spoken, likes good food and a wine, perhaps a craft beer, but loves his footy.
F**k Max Gawn.

Ironically, that stereotypical Melbournian wouldn't even think about an NFT. That's more a Sydney thing.

i like to imagine Gawn got sick of his beard 3 years ago but because most of his brand is his beard he can't shave and every morning he wakes up and looks in the mirror and sighs heavily

It actually troubles me more that dogs are continually associated with the horrible things humans do.
