So, if Jonas got 1 week for a tackle that was rewarded with a free but ruled “careless, medium impact, high contact”

Daicos has to be:
  • intentional - it was off the ball, no excuses
  • body contact - in the midriff
  • medium impacts - based on Jonas’ suspension were McDonald played on.

That’s 1 week…. But we all know that won’t happen.
Any footage?

AFL is investigating if norf made a 77th interchange, right after getting pinged for the 76th one, meaning Sydney may have missed out on another free+50 from the centre

Oh Norf

grandpa-simpson.gif

it was mentioned in the AFLs round so far video.

the theorised thought prossess for the 77th one was they were trying to undo the 76th one, but......

1 - thats not how interchanges work
2 - the free+50 for the 76th one had been paid so why even???, and finally
3 - they didnt even take and put back on both players from the 76th interchange.

they just s**t the bed, like alot
The only thing embarassing about North's 77th interchange is the idiots reporting on it.

Part of the interchange infrindgement rule is that you have to revert the illegal interchange. They replaced Powell with Shiel as the AFL directed them. Shiel was decided as he illegal one because they were calling for Phillips to come off with Greenwood set to go on. Powell was sent out by the runner after Shiel came off under his own steam while they were making that interchange.

Stumbled across this little vid this morning. Someone's perspective on Adelaide footy ovals. I learned lots of interesting stuff I never knew.

For example, did you know that Adelaide Oval is the Crow's 'spiritual home'?

Yep. Seems an organisation created 120 years AFTER Adelaide Oval was established and who didn't play a game there until 2014 and whose HQ is at West Lakes have a 'spiritual' connection to Adelaide Oval that the 'Port Magpies' don't.

Port's spiritual home is Alberton Oval - a place described disparagingly as having a 'quaint' old stand and a 'bog standard' stand next to it facing Port's admin buildings which are 'irrelevant for the spectators'.

The stuff you learn on the Internetz.

That's the spiritual home they didn't want to go to?

We all know their spiritual home is the Supreme Court.

Wrong sport.

In Australian Rules Football you attack your goal. You may be confusing it with Association Football.

In Aussie Rules if a player kicks the ball through their goal it does not result in a score for the opposition.
what do you thin a rushed behind is?????

Will get a fine under the P. Cripps "could win a Brownlow" precedent.
