How the hell is the Doedee compensation going to be end of first round and the Amon comp was second round?

That was an almighty rip off. Lost an all Australian calibre player for pick 30. Meanwhile crows are going to get 19 for a middling third tall coming off of a knee reco.

Also where are Brisbane finding all this cash to spend on players.
Doedee is a very good footballer and will be compensated accordingly. End of first round is fair for him. We got ripped off big time for Amon, but that makes the Amon compo wrong, not the Doedee compo.

Nah. Doedee now and doedee before injury are two different players. He never came back from that injury to his previous form, and was already being pushed out for michealanny beifre he did this more recent injury.

Crows fans weren’t bothered by him leaving when they thought they would get a band 3 or 4, and that’s a fan base that overrates their own something chronic.

Man the crows have been extremely kissed on the dick by free agency compo over the years.

Pick 19 for a washed up bock. Pick 39 (something like that I think?) for atkins

Now pick 19 for doedee.

Wow be pissed if Freo fan, guess Taylor Adams trade to Sydney will be moved on to Freo. Ginnervans role becomes less viable at Pies.

He's using the family ties line apparently, but nominating one club out of 10 for his homecoming. Maybe Collingwood has made the best offer to Schultz's manager.

He was de-listed and put on Freo's rookie list a couple of years ago, but signed a one year contract extension during this season to take him through to the end of 2024. As such he is an unrestricted free agent after that, so maybe Freo should just take the best offer they can get for him now.

Seems to happen to us a fair bit.

Before Amon was Troy Chaplin (former first rounder) and Danyle Pearce (former Rising Star) for end of second round picks in the 30’s, while Melbourne copped an end of first for Colin Sylvia.

Would love a peek at ThE fOrMuLa.

Amon compo was about right he's had one semi passable year in his career.

Rubbish, making the AA squad is certainly better than "semi passable" and he's been solid for a number of years now. Certainly miles better than Duursma

Honestly I feel like the Crows got rogered if anything. Should have been closer to middle of first round.

Might be the most unpopular opinion ever posted on here lol

has the character assassination began in the SA media? that's always a great part of the crows losing a good player

Roo on the Ms this morning ran with
He is a great guy but an idiot if he turned down their offer

This snippet gives an insight into how shambolic the concussions protocols are in AFL. Murphy deemed fine to return to field in GF despite self reporting blurred vision and eventually withdrawing himself.

"Collingwood premiership defender Nathan Murphy’s football future is clouded after he suffered a 10th concussion across his junior and AFL career in the grand final, reports The Herald Sun.

Murphy’s fate could be determined by the AFL’s medical concussion panel after the 23-year old’s ongoing run with head knocks continued following an accidental collision with Brisbane’s Lincoln McCarthy in the first quarter of last month’s decider.

Though Murphy passed a concussion test, he made the call to sub himself out of the game for Patrick Lipinski due to reporting blurred vision, telling The Herald Sun he “couldn’t really see” coach Craig McRae at the quarter-time huddle."

Lachie Schultz looking at a five-year offer from the Pies - four years plus a trigger for a fifth. Has family pull back to Victoria but Freo's trade price will be high. If Pies secured pick 25 from Swans for Taylor Adams it would give them No.19, 25 & 38 to play with.

Funny how Family are always more important when they come with a phat 5yr contract

McKay for Pick 3 and Doedee for 19 are some of the bolder moves in sports entertainment. I wonder what storylines the AFL have coming up for us next year.
I reckon all the rookie players will form their own team called the Nexus and will just run on to the field during other teams games and bash everyone.
