WTF is going on with the Bulldogs selections this week? Jack Macrae and Caleb Daniel, both genuinely elite footballers, omitted and sub respectively. Lachie McNeil, Laitham Vandermeee, Lachie Bramble who all genuinely shouldn't even be anywhere near an AFL list let alone a best 22 all in. Baffling. Beveridge is a terrible coach.

We all have our idiosyncrasies when it comes to footy, one of mine is being incredibly passionate about the standalone sides in the VFL. And not in the weird way SANFL fans were in 2014, because the VFL actually has been taken over by AFL clubs. But being at that grand final supporting a side who I've technically followed for longer than Port Adelaide and seeing the behaviour of some Gold Coast fans towards a very clearly disabled Werribee fan who was naturally not too happy with the scoreline was very off-putting. I know it's not representative of their fanbase as a whole (or maybe it is, since 25 Gold Coast fans is a bigger proportion of the fanbase than 25 fans of any other club) but I don't think it's the weirdest reason for someone to dislike a club.

Yeah, his only issue was health.
Was in ripping form last preseason only to cop a crack in his leg, then returned only to suffer a string of those secondary strains and niggles you can get with bone and ligament recoveries.
At 100% he’ll be a tireless connector up and down the wing, with a Breust-like eye for goal.
Pure icing on the cake if Melbourne can get their act together.
