Hawthorn is 337 votes according to the VEC website

VEC website is not 100% up to date

i was scrutineering rechecks at one electorate, and the VEC number hasnt been updated to include the revised numbers from our count yet (mobile booths added, not originals not updated)

If the 280 vote difference is due to Absent Votes being counted but not reported, that would be inline with my earlier prediction. Provisional Votes will go Labor, outstanding postal votes will go Liberal. Liberals win by under 100 votes, maybe under 50.

Not just absents. I found significant votes from the Saturday count assigned to wrong candidate. This error was confirmed and endorsed Monday, but isn't uploaded yet.

Matthew Guy did the equivalent of an AFL coach who resigned after overseeing a 10+ goal loss for his team on AFL Grand Final Day, and quit his position, because he reckons he’s about to be sacked by his club’s board of directors and they hold him responsible for the team playing poorly on the biggest day of club history.

On second thoughts, I think we might lose.
I was thinking about you on the week-end. I must admit I thought Labor would win but not by the amount they have.
Did you have any inside knowledge on polling?

Who cares? He'll just be replaced by some other useless guy anyway. ;)

And whoever takes over from Matthew Guy will find out just how tough the job can be, especially if you’re on the wrong end of a big election defeat. It’ll be 2-3 terms before the electorate will consider giving the Liberals another chance of regaining power.

BTW, what going to happen to the Coalition agreement signed by the Liberals and Nationals prior to the election? Will that still be legally binding, or is it now null and void?

The Vic Libels and Irrationals are in Coalition? Were they ever seen in the same room together during the campaign?

It would interesting to see some data on it from other countries as to whether it actually prevents more offences happening.

No idea where I am really- ie. the thread or board, but saw the post.

I heard somewhere vigilantes actually increases stress in offenders and therefore they are at a greater risk to offend.

/not that im trying to sympathise with sex offenders, god no.
