I think structure wise as well as the comps new obsession with multiple small forwards, Bond has to be in the team and his lock down roles will be vital to our success.

He's the new Luke Brown, I think people forget how important that role is and the beauty is Bond is so fit and versatile that he can play lock down roles on midfielders, small forwards and even the comps most damaging half backs.

Maybe, him and about 10 others.

I cant see him overtaking anyone of the 3 that we brought in, or Taylor. I would like him to though, his skillset is very handy.
No argument he is on the fringe... just disagree he is a long way back in the queue.

I'm a big bond fan... Has shown good versatility.. surprised he only got a 1 year contract

Has he ??

IMO he's a stopped, and potentially a very good one. But hes pretty limited elsewhere though that might be because its how weve used him at SANFL level too

Max Butts Worrell
Cumming Murray Hinge
ANB Crouch Sholl
Keays Fog Curtin
Rachelle Thilthorpe Rankine

ROB Dawson Soligo

Peatling Draper Tex Nank sub Laird

Unlucky Taylor, Keane

Gone for Butts over Keane as reckon he’s a better one on one defender and we’ve got enough attacking flair and intercepting in defence

Now what’s the chances of Laird being sub? Unlikely but where the hell they going to play him if we are full strength

Kane if you'd watched him last year he was ordinary. Yes I know he did his shoulder but this was early as well. I question his desire to make a spot in the AFL team his. He's a long way back IMO.

Playing 1 short on the bench?

Early days...

B: Michaelanny, Murray, Keane
HB: Cumming, Worrell, Hinge
C: Sholl, Soligo, Peatling
HF: Rachele, Fogarty, ANB
F: Walker, Thilthorpe, Keays
R: O’Brien, Dawson, Rankine
I: Laird, Crouch, Curtin, Pedlar
Sub: Taylor
E: Butts, Jones, Nankervis

Laird as a dedender!

But we should be looking to manage around 30ish players through the season.

Tex to play around 2/3rds of games... so we can mix up Curtin's role.

Edwards, Ryan & pick #4 debut & hopefully play plenty of games.

More of Bond & Dowling.

Hopefully Milera can get an injury free run.
