Surprised Schoenberg didn't come in, thought he was a good chance to replace McHenry or Cook.

No Borlase is good given the matchups, but thought there was an opportunity to retain Curtin despite his performance last week. Hopefully he comes back in next week when they want to transition back to 3 talls.

I know he is going to be dropped, but this is the sort of game you keep Curtin in for.

Collingwoods forward line has no De Goey, Elliott or Mihocek. They'll have a few reserve graders up front that Nicks can put Curtin on, if he's adamant that Curtin has to play a defensive role.

Also, big game at the G. Give him a taste of Victorian AFL footy.

Madness not to expose him when the quality of his direct opponents is not going to be up to its usual standard at Collingwood.

He stood the second graders last week and got smashed. Would much rather him get a couple of games in Sanfl for confidence and form - and bring him back for the easier run we have coming up. Less intensity and less pressure
